The latest episode of Dancing With The Stars Season 34 was quite happening. The finale featured participants competing in the Judges' Choice Round, Instant Dance Challenge, and Free Style Round.

The remaining five dancing pairs, including Alix-Val, Dylan-Daniella, Elaine-Alan, Robert-Witney, and Jordan-Ezra, participated in the finale.

Except Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, all four finalists earned a perfect score, 30, for their Instant Dance Challenge performance. To learn more about judges' comments and which dance style the participants performed, read on.


How did the finalists perform in the Instant Dance Challenge in the finale?

After the Judges' Choice Round, the five remaining finalists went through the Instant Dance Challenge. The first pair was Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy. The two performed an instant Cha Cha on Raye's Where Is My Husband.

Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba called it a show-stopping performance. She told Alix and Val that they rose to the occasion.

"It shows that you've learned...You have the vocabulary to go out there and do it," mentioned Derek Hough.

Bruno felt that the pair's transformation was incredible. He also noted their foot placement and said that it was excellent. The pair earned a perfect score of 30 out of 30.

Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach were the next pair. Their performance on Alex Warren's Ordinary won the judges' hearts.

"The control, the way you used your ankles, your legs, your knees...one of the best foxtrots from a man," said Derek Hough.

DWTS' Carrie Ann Inaba mentioned that it was an unbelievable performance from Dylan. She added that he was leading like a leading man should, and also delivered a beautiful hold. They also received 30 out of 30 in the Instant Dance Challenge.

The next pair on Dancing With The Stars was Elaine and Alan. Their quickstep earned appreciation from the judges. Carrie Ann mentioned she loved the way Elaine carried herself throughout the performance. Derek referred to her as the queen of quickstep. Despite one miststep, the performance was sensational.

Fellow DWTS judge Bruno noted that there were a few foot faults in Elaine's performance. Their score was 27.

Fan-favorite duo Robert Irwin and Witney Carson performed on their instant Cha Cha. Carrie Ann talked about their partnership, while Derek felt it was an impressive performance:

"I was nervous for you for that one...It was honestly so incredibly impressive."

Bruno mentioned that Robert and Witney were on fire, and their placement was much better. They were also rewarded with a perfect score of 30 points. The next were Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa. Their tango performance turned out to be mind-blowing, according to Carrie Ann Inaba. She applauded the challenge and called it fantastic.

Dancing With The Stars' Bruno noted that it was a fabulous performance by Jordan and Ezra. Derek Hough also mentioned that it was fantastic. For their Instant Dance Challenge performance, Jordan earned 30 out of 30.

All five finalists' scores for the current round were:

  • Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy: 30 out of 30
  • Robert Irwin and Witney Carson: 30 out of 30
  • Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach: 30 out of 30
  • Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa: 30 out of 30
  • Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten: 27 out of 30

While four of them scored a perfect 27, Elaine and Alan earned 27 points.
