With each new episode, the story in Dear X gets thrilling, thanks to the incredible cast members for bringing Ah-jin, Jun-seo, and others to life with depth in the characters. And the latest episodes became even more special as Hwang In-youp finally appears opposite Ah-jin.
The True Beauty heartthrob can be seen playing another popular actor in the industry and Le-na's boyfriend (only for the fans), as they have broken up already. And it looks like Ah-jin has a great plan to seduce Heo In-gang and episode 6 clearly proves it.
Episode 6 ended with a kiss between In-gang and Ah-jin, while Jun-seo is lying on the road, injured and heartbroken as always. This new bond between the two actors might push Jun-seo to go against Ah-jin, not immediately, but the shift seems bound to happen
So, make sure to watch episodes 7 and 8 of Dear X arriving on Thursday, November 20, 2025 only on TVING, HBO Max, and Viki. This means that the K-drama can be streamed on more than one platform easily.

Dear X episodes 7-8: Everything to know

Episodes 7 and 8 of the K-drama Dear X will be released on Thursday, November 20, 2025. As explained earlier, the episodes come out on TVING for local fans around 6 pm KST. Unlike many shows, this one does not air on any local TV channel.
As for the international audience, the same episodes can be streamed on HBO Max and Rakuten Viki. The release generally happens 30 minutes after the episode is out on TVING. However, each platform requires a subscription plan:
Rakuten Viki: This platform is exclusively for all types of Asian dramas and is available in many countries, including the U.S., Europe and more. The first two episodes can be watched without paying, but after that, viewers need a Viki Pass which can be bought for $7.99 or $11.99.
HBO Max: This platform carries the show in certain Asia-Pacific regions such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and more.
TVING: This is the exclusive option for audiences in South Korea.
And if these platforms don't work in your region, try out Disney+ in select regions or Starzplay for the Middle East and North Africa. While Dear X isn't available on these two platforms, it might arrive after the K-drama finishes.

What happened in Dear X episodes 5-6: A quick recap

The episode begins with Ah-jin rising in her acting career and even debuts at the BIFF red carpet with the famous actor In-Gang. However, this does not mean that Ah-jin won't face challenges anymore.
In-Gang's girlfriend, Le-na, is also Ah-jin's senior who constantly bullies her on the set while filming for a project. And Le-na only stops when the CEO reminds her that her DUI can be exposed anytime.
Ah-Jin then learns that Longstar keeps secret files to control their stars, which pushes her to take action. Meanwhile, Jun-seo has become a famous author whose work reflects that his world revolves around Ah-jin.
One night, Le-Na attacks Ah-Jin inside the company building, unaware that Ah-Jin’s manager records the incident. The footage later plays at Longstar’s Christmas event, and Ah-jin reminds Le-na not to mess with her.
In episode 6 of Dear X, the disgraced Detective Park appears at the event and threatens Ah-jin. He knows her past and is trying to blackmail her. However, Ah-jin isn't someone who backs off easily.
She uses her manipulation and asks Jun-seo and Jae-Oh to work together to stop him. At the same time, actor In-gang has been secretly struggling with trauma. He gradually gets closer to Ah-jin, just as she wanted.
After a staged delay caused by Jae-Oh, they finally share a kiss by the end of Dear X episode 6. The end is dark as Jun-Seo gets badly injured during a fight defending Ah-Jin, leaving his fate uncertain.
What to expect from Dear X episodes 7-8?

There's a lot that needs to happen in the next episodes of Dear X. Jun-seo's condition might shake things up, even affecting Ah-jin. However, she's expected to continue her relationship with In-gang with tension and manipulation.
At the same time, Le-na and Detective Park don't seem to stop. Jun-seo already told Le-na that he's Ah-jin's stepbrother, who never looked at her like a real brother does. And if Le-na finds our detective Park, the two might work together to bring Ah-jin down. So, gear up for more secrets to be uncovered.
