After watching the explosive ending of the last two episodes of Dear X K-drama, must must be waiting to see what happens next with Beak Ah-jin. Now that In-gang is dead and the entire country is hating on her, will she really be able to rise again?
Well, most of the things have been cleared out in the latest episodes 9 and 10 of Dear X, as Ah-jin takes another big and shocking move, once again leaving behind those who adore her the most: Jun seo and Jae-oh.
As seen in episode 9, Jun-seo and Jae-oh almost died in a fire, while Ah-jin is busy signing an agreement with Do Entertainment, even agreeing to marry the owner, Moon Do-hyeok, who comes with his own plan.
And by episode 10, Ah-jin's wedding news shatters Jun-seo and Jae-oh, but Jun-seo finally decides to move on from her, while Jae-oh is also trying to keep his distance. While Ah-jin is busy building her life and reaching new heights, Jae-ho and Jun-seo are both trying to forget her.

Dear X episode 9 recap: Ah-jin is removed from Longstar with its CEO getting arrested
Episode 9 of Dear X is titled "New Heights" as many belived that In-gang's death would be the beginning of Ah-jin's downfall, but little did anyone know that she would once again rise in her career, and this time, with an even bigger company.
The episode starts with Ah-jin's removal from Longstar, with news outlets extensively covering this news. CEO Seo Me-ri meets Ah-jin at the rooftop and accuses her of In-gang's death.
She claims to destroy her career and expose all about her past from the secret shackles files kept in the office. And right when Me-ri accuses Ah-jin, she brings up the bond Me-ri had with In-gang. The CEO had known him for almost ten years and was aware of his depression.
But instead of helping In-gang, the Longstar CEO focused on her greed and making money out of the artist. So, this makes Me-ri an equal contributor in In-gang's demise.
And soon, Ms. Seo is arrested in episode 9 of Dear X K-drama. Thanks to the CEO of Do Entertainment, who offered a big contract to Baek Ah-jin and even destroyed Me-ri's reputation. This way, the tables turn as Ah-jin's image gets cleared and she gets out of the scandal.

Dear X episodes 9-10 recap: Jun-seo's kidney transplant and his grandfather's demise
As the Dear X episode continues, Jun-seo learns from Ah-jin that his mother needs a kidney transplant and only he can be the donor. Despite knowing how cruel she has been with both Ah-jin and Jun-seo since childhood, Jun-seo agrees to give one of his kidneys.
However, he makes an agreement with his mother. After the surgery, she must never show up to Beak Ah-jin or his grandfather. These are the only people Jun-seo cares about and doesn't want his mother to trouble them anymore.
His mother agrees, and the two went into surgery. Ah-jin asked Jun-seo to recover fast and not to give her any reason to worry. This brief moment showed that Ah-jin has little care about Jun-seo in her heart, but she cannot express it.
Later, Jun-seo breaks down after learning that his grandfather has passed away. And to make it worse, his mother creates a drama at the funeral, followed by Jun-seolearningg that he's an illegitimate child.
Ah-jin knew all of this, but she never told Jun-seo. When he questions her, Ah-jin says that she didn't want him to feel heartbroken. However, Jun-seo doubts her explanation in Dear X, but still cannot go against Ah-jin.
Dear X episode 9: Jae-oh and Jun-seo escape death while Ah-jin accepts a marriage proposal
By the end of episode 9, Ah-jin meets the CEO of Do Entertainment, Moon Do-hyeok. He promises to take Ah-jin to new heights and even bring her any projects that she wants. In return, he only wants Ah-jin to marry him.
Is Do-hyeok in love with Baek Ah-jin? Well, his actions clearly show that he has a big reason behind this marriage and seems obsessed with Ah-jin. He already destroyed Ms. Seo's reputation as she ended the contract with Ah-jin, suggesting that he can do everything for her.
On the other side, Jun-seo gets discharged from the hospital and receives a call from Jae-oh. When the two meet, Jae-oh tells Jun-seo that he's being attacked by unknown people and things might go really harsh.
While they’re in the middle of their conversation, one of Do-hyeok’s men quietly starts a fire inside the building. Jae-ho catches the scent of leaking gas and spots the flames creeping toward them.
Realizing how little time they have, he smashes the window without hesitation, and the two leap out just in time. A second’s delay and the outcome could have been fatal.

Dear X episode 10 recap: Baek Ah-jin is now married to Do-hyeok
Baek Ah-jin and Do-hyeok's marriage becomes the top news in the country, while Jae-oh and Jun-seo are left confused and broken. Ah-jin agreed to tie the knot with the businessman as he promised to lift her up and clear the stains left behind.
As the episode continues, Do-hyeok's obsessive side also starts coming out. He even has an entire floor locked, where only he can go. This hints that Do-hyeok also has a big secret that he doesn't want to come out.
When Ah-jin asks if she can practice on the same floor in their house, Do-hyeok refuses and tells Ah-jin that he'll practise with her. While doing so, Do-hyeok brings up his divorce with his first wife and hints that if his partner gets on his nerves, he can go to extreme heights, even divorce.
However, his motives are still unclear. And until Ah-jin finds out the truth, she'll pretend to enjoy the life she has with her current husband. Meanwhile, Jun-seo is moving on from her and Lena has also left for good.
Dear X episode 10 ending explained: Jung-hee attacks Ah-jin only to end up severely injured
By the end of Dear X episode 10, Jung-hee enters Ah-jin and Do-hyeok's house in a maid's attire. And while Ah-jin is practising in the sun, Jung-hee shows up with the knife. She tries to kill Ah-jin, saying that she has ruined her life.
Ah-jin gives Jung-hee a reality check, mentioning that she's getting what she deserves. While the confrontation is unfolding, Do-hyeok is already making his way toward their room. Jung-hee makes another attempt to end Ah-jin’s life, but in the struggle, Ah-jin shoves her back.
The push sends Jung-hee crashing hard, leaving a deep cut slashed across her face. As blood starts running down Jung-hee’s cheek, Ah-jin lets out a shaky, tearful laugh, the kind that feels unhinged and grief-soaked at the same time. And right in the middle of this chaos, Do-hyeok arrives and witnesses the moment exactly as it's already out of control.
