Destination X: Who was eliminated from the NBC show's second episode?

NBC returned with Destination X's latest episode. The second episode of the show featured participants going on another adventure. After arriving in the snowy mountains, the guessing game began. The location was later revealed to be Geneva, Switzerland.

For that, Destination X Episode 2 featured Jonah Evarts going home. He was eliminated after his guess of the destination was farther from fellow participant Mack Fitzgerald's guess. Jonah's guess was 3 miles away from Mack's guess, which led to his elimination.

As a result, the second person to be eliminated from the NBC show was Jonah Evarts. Earlier on the show's debut episode, fans witnessed Josh Martinez going home. Fans might know him for winning Big Brother Season 19.

Destination X Episode 2: Jonah Evart was sent home after a close call with Mack Fitzgerald

During the Destination X Episode 2 elimination challenge, participants were asked about their locations. The correct answer was Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Jonah from Manhattan, Kansas, guessed a location that was 105 miles away from the right location.

Along with him, one of the fellow participants, Mack Fitzgerald, also guessed a nearby location. Her location was three miles closer to the correct answer, which saved her. Witnessing Jonah's elimination, show host Jeffery Dean Morgan stated how it was "strangely fitting" that he was the one who got eliminated in Switzerland.

He was referring to Jonah being the most "peaceful" person from the cast members, and he was getting eliminated at a peaceful place as Switzerland. Jonah, after learning that his guess was wrong and that it led to his elimination, reacted to his choice:

"I was so wrong."

Destination X Episode 2: What happened during the elimination challenge?

Destination X participants Rick and Kimberly had to choose which of their fellow players would go to the Map Room. They chose Rachel and Jonah. Apart from them, Mack, Ally, and Tai were also going to share their guesses.

While Tai and Ally correctly guessed the destination, Geneva, Mack and Rachel guessed somewhere between Germany and Bern. They thought their location was in or around Germany. Jonah guessed that they were in Bern. The reason behind his guess was that Ally led him to believe that it was the right location.

However, since Jonah's guess was the farthest, host Jeffery Dean Morgan announced his elimination.

The show host's reaction to Jonah's elimination was:

"I got to say, it's strangely fitting that the most peaceful person on that bus is leaving here in Switzerland, the land of peace and neutrality."

He stated the irony of how Jonah was the "most peaceful person," and still, he was the one who got eliminated at that place. Jonah said that his guess was "so wrong," as he was sent home from the NBC show.
