That's the question episode 2 of Dexter: Resurrection leaves us with as Dexter finds himself drawn into a new game-and this time, he's not the only one playing by the code.
The synopsis of Dexter: Resurrection Episode 2, titled, Camera Shy, reads as follows:

A wrong pickup turns deadly while Dexter quietly follows the blood trail in Dexter: Resurrection Episode 2
After a banging opening with episode 1, the 2nd episode of Dexter: Resurrection opens with an eerie silence cut short by the music of Black Sabbath as a man walks alone through New York's busy night. That man, Ronald Schmidt, isn't just another face in the crowd. In a terrifying moment, he slips into the backseat of a car meant for someone else.
The driver, Stanley, thinks nothing of it until a garrote tightens around his neck. The scene turns cold and calm as the killer pushes the driver to talk about his family, then says:
"Let's just say, it all depends."
What follows is violence we don't see, but we feel.
The next morning, Stanley's headless body is discovered still sitting behind the wheel. Meanwhile, Dexter: Resurrection pulls us back to the Empire Hotel, where Dexter sneaks in after hours to investigate the murder scene Harrison left behind.
Harry, always the nagging voice in Dexter's head, urges him to confront his son. But Dexter holds back. Instead, he tracks the blood literally. He notices Harrison wrapped the body well, with no blood left behind. Pride flickers across his face just before detectives Wallace and Oliva arrive.
Dexter ducks out of sight as Wallace immediately pieces together how the murder happened. Her sharp instincts unsettle Dexter. She's too good.
Harrison spirals, and Dexter finds a lead on the “other” Dark Passenger
In episode 2 of Dexter: Resurrection, Harrison tries to move forward with a normal life. He babysits for Elsa and bonds with her young son. But even with these moments, guilt follows him like a shadow. A nightmare about shooting his father jolts him awake, sending him out for a midnight drive with co-worker Lance.
Harrison believes he sees Dexter from a distance, but brushes it off as a hallucination. At the same time, Dexter rides with a driver named Blessing Kamara. Their conversation turns unexpectedly real. Blessing opens up about life, loss, and the growing fear around a serial killer targeting ride-share drivers: a killer dubbed the "Dark Passenger."
It strikes a nerve in Dexter, who decides to sign up as a driver himself in this episode of Dexter: Resurrection, and a new mission begins. Later, Dexter attends a party hosted by Blessing, where he meets someone who survived an attack by the Dark Passenger.
The victim even shows Dexter a video, but the killer's face remains hidden behind infrared light. Still, Dexter notices a logo on the killer's backpack and tracks it to a man named Ronald Schmidt.
He follows Ronald through the city, watching him disappear into the subway. In a moment of reflection, Dexter tells Harry, "Now," when asked when he started protecting people instead of just hunting them.
Police close in on Harrison as Dexter considers making New York home
While the mystery around the ride-share killer grows in Dexter: Resurrection, the detectives continue digging into the hotel murder. They uncover footage showing Shauna being drugged at the bar by Ryan Foster, the man Harrison killed. That discovery brings them closer to identifying Harrison.
The tension rises when they spot Harrison walking by and ask to speak with him. Back in Iron Lake, Angel Batista and Teddy Reed reconnect. Batista still wants to track down Dexter.
"He must be miserable..." Teddy says, thinking back to when Dexter went by Jim Lindsay. Batista convinces him to flag Dexter's truck if it ever resurfaces. That doesn't take long. The truck is found, and Dexter takes an UrCar to the impound lot. There, he continues talking with Blessing, who offers him a room in his building.
Dexter hesitates but agrees, realizing he needs to stay close to Harrison. In a brief moment of satisfaction, Dexter removes a bloodstain from the hotel kitchen ceiling. That single drop could've given his son away.
Meanwhile, in Michigan, a new layer of mystery unfolds. Charley confronts a panicked man at an ATM. He was once part of her secret organization, but broke the rules. When he begs for another chance, she responds not with words but with a baseball bat.
Dexter: Resurrection Episode 2 sets up a tense game of predator vs predator. As Dexter inches closer to uncovering the identity of the ride-share killer, he's also quietly protecting his son-who is walking a dangerous line himself.
With Ronald Schmidt slipping into Dexter's sights and the cops narrowing in on Harrison, the city is closing in from all sides. The final voiceover seals it:
"Ronald Schmidt, my kill table is ready for you."
There's a storm brewing in New York, and Dexter is right at the eye of it.
