"Disgusting person" - Love Island UK fans criticize Ben for the way he behaved with Yas

Ben and Yasmin got into a row on Love Island UK season 12 episode 18, and fans have taken the latter's side. It was seen that the two were a couple previously but broke off during the recent recoupling ceremony. However, the girls then told Yas that Ben has been talking badly about her to the men.

This urged a confrontation from her side, and Yas decided to talk to Ben about the whole thing. It ended up building into a huge argument where he got defensive and claimed that he never liked her in the first place, and she is just trying to give content to the viewers by fighting with him.

Love Island UK fans feel like Ben was triggered by the whole thing and was trying to get Yasmin to snap at him so he could become the victim in the end and blame the entire thing on her and label Yas as "dramatic."

They appreciated Yas for being calm at that point, but still clocking Ben's behavior towards her. A fan wrote on X,

"nah ben is actually a disgusting person. the way he just spoke about yas and treated her there was genuinely one of the most uncomfortable things i’ve sat through. he is a real nasty piece of work."

"ben is a man child with a temper who can’t take criticism without kicking off get him out of this villa now," said another fan.

"nah the way ben talks about and to women is actually disgusting. idk why he thinks hes gods gift but guess what ben LITERALLY NO GIRL IN THERE WANTS U EITHER U CHILDISH CHILDISH MAN !! GET HIM OUT IMMEDIATELY," a fan expressed their anger.

"coming to realise ben is completely illiterate 99% of the time and dosent know how to speak to people but when he’s hating on women he’s the modern day Shakespeare," read a tweet.

"Ben has to go home. Don’t get me wrong, Remell is horrible but the ways in which Ben speaks to women he actually can’t be in that villa," wrote a fan.

"ben is a gross incel who’s hiding behind a hair transplant, the way he talks to women is disgusting and he doesn’t even have the goods to back it up, smug pr*ck," said another fan.

"Ben gives me Douchebumps. What Man would say to a Woman "no man in here wants you" "you only came out of your shell cuz you're with me. Not one guy in here rates you" What a horrible human. He's a bad guy. Again...a bad guy. His parents did a bad job. Get him out," expressed a fan.

"Why are the men in the UK love island so cocky? Especially Ben? They wanna be chased so badd," read a tweet.

Love Island UK Season 12 - The feud between Yas and Ben

Yas has got to know that Ben has been talking badly about her behind her back. She went over and sat down with him. Her main concern was the fact that he is trying to paint a picture to the other islanders in the Love Island UK villa that she is very much into him, but he is not. Yas said that it is not the case.

At this, Ben argued that Yas had chosen him during the re-coupling, but she felt that this argument was irrelevant as there was nobody else to pick at that point. She then asked him to not waste her time, given the fact that it is so limited in the villa.

Ben got very defensive during this and claimed that nobody in the villa even wanted to be with Yas. He said that fellow Love Island UK cast member Shea also felt like his time was wasted by being with her. And then when she got coupled with Ben, he said that was what brought Yas out of her shell and put her on the radar among the islanders.

Fans were upset at how rude Ben was towards Yas and has been in the past towards other women islanders as well. They feel like he should be eliminated from Love Island UK.
