Doc Season 2 Episode 6, Saints & Sinners, hit Fox on November 4, 2025, at 9/8c, and landed on Hulu the next day.

The show is deep into its second season now, still digging into the chaos and drama at Westside Medical Center, especially Dr. Amy Larson’s world.

This episode weaves together a bunch of stories. Amy ends up treating a chaplain, and it really stirs up some old pain she has been carrying. Dr. Michael Hamda gets grilled over what happened during that hostage crisis earlier in the season: turns out he hid the truth from UNOS to make sure a patient got a transplant.

Meanwhile, TJ returns to work and is assigned to a prisoner, and then there is Hannah, whose brother shows up with a “solution” that only heightens the family tension.

It is classic Doc: high-stakes medicine tangled up with real-life problems.

Right at the start of Doc Season 2 Episode 6, things get unsettling: a priest suddenly starts bleeding from his eyes while he is comforting a couple in the hospital. Amy jumps in to treat him and quickly realizes he is dealing with a brutal, multi-organ illness. Even with such a bleak diagnosis, the priest somehow stays calm. He is steady, faithful, and he is the one comforting Amy when she starts to question her own decisions.

At the same time, Amy can’t shake this haunting memory about a man and a snow globe. It has got everyone around her on edge. Then Gina drops a bomb: Katie actually knows more about the snow globe than she lets on. So Amy tries reaching out to her daughter, but things between them are rough. Katie pulls away, blaming Amy for digging up old pain connected to Danny’s death.

Doc Season 2 Episode 6 flashes back to Amy’s old talks with the priest, moments that lay bare just how much grief and guilt she is still carrying over losing her son, and how it has torn her and Katie apart.

Somewhere in the hospital, TJ and Sonya are thrown into a tough situation with Malcolm, an inmate who tried to poison himself with toilet cleaner. He is desperate to see his dying mother, who is at a different facility. But when she refuses to meet him, Sonya tells TJ they have to respect her decision. Later, Malcolm opens up with a gut-wrenching confession about everything that tore his family apart and how he has been chasing some kind of redemption ever since.

Meanwhile, Jake is caught up in the mess with the hospital and UNOS. He finds out the oversight committee wants to blame Michael for everything, but he and Gina see through it: it is just politics. Wanting to protect Michael, Jake tweaks some paperwork to cover his tracks. Thanks to that, the hospital manages to get its certification back.

By the end of Doc Season 2 Episode 6, Amy pulls off a risky, last-minute procedure and saves the priest. The whole ordeal awakens her empathy and pushes her to finally face her own past. She sits down with Katie, and they have a real conversation about losing Danny.

Later, mother and daughter visit Danny’s grave together. It is quiet, overdue, and you can tell it is the first real step toward healing.

On the other side of things, Jake goes on a date with his patient’s sister, but when Amy calls to thank him for being there, he decides to step back. Still, you get the sense their tangled connection isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
