After Toni learned about the reason why Lauren was so upset after she chose Harrison, she was saddened. Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 39 saw a private chat between Lauren and Harrison.
Lauren said that since he made his decision to be with Toni, they should stay away from each other's way:
"I just think that we need to keep out of each other's way. I owe it to myself to find someone else. And I don't deserve to be disrespected in that way. You're not bothered. And I need to...I need to move on from the situation."
Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 39: Lauren asks Harrison to keep his distance while he opens up to Toni
The latest Love Island UK Season 12 episode saw things getting clear between Lauren - Harrison and Toni - Harrison. It happened after Lauren and Toni had a private conversation.
When she requested a private chat, Harrison said he felt that it was not going to be a "good" conversation. Lauren agreed as she responded:
"Well, it's obviously not going to be good. Like, we're not in the best place, so..."
He asked how Lauren felt. She said she felt "more angry" than upset.
"I feel like I'm more angry now than upset, to be honest. Because I just think I didn't deserve to be tracked the way I've been tracked. Like, at all. And you obviously, you've made your decision," added Lauren.
She said that they need to keep their distance as she didn't deserve to be "disrespected."
In his private confession, Love Island UK star Harrison shared:
"I get that she wants to keep a distance so that she can make the most out of this experience and move on to find something new. So I've got my little thing with Tone (Toni). I want to put my all into that over the next few days and see what that leads to."
After Harrison's private chat with Lauren, he went to Toni and asked for a private conversation. He told Toni that Lauren was "pressing him" for answers during their private chat.
When Toni asked if he was "ending things" with Lauren, he said she was "closed" at the moment. She asked if things were "not over." Love Island UK star Harrison said it was over.
"I don't buy it," responded Toni.
She said all she could do was "hopefully trust" that what Harrison said was true. He admitted that trusting him would take time and talked about how Lauren was with Ty, and more. He stated that there was no "triangle."
