Don’t Get High is one of the most exciting comedy projects in recent years. That's because the showrunner for the Hulu series is none other than Megan Ganz, the same one who also created the acclaimed and popular Apple+ comedy series Mythic Quest, or Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet. The streaming platform Hulu and the studio 20th Television are the ones involved in supporting the series.
On Friday, September 12, 2025, Variety exclusively reported the Don’t Get High cast. Looks like the cast of the exciting comedy series is filled with a talented pool of actors who have appeared in popular projects in the past.

- Ashley Brooke as Penny
It seems that Brooke might be the protagonist of Don’t Get High. Her character is described as an "alpha dweeb". According to the official logline of the series, she is not a fan of the cool kids in her classroom and teams up with her dweeby friends to start an anti-drug group that aims to bring down the so-called cool kids. One of Ashley Brooke's most notable roles was that of Margot Frank in 2023's A Small Light.
- Erin Morton as Lane
Lane might be the secondary protagonist of the series. She is described as Penny's loyal and eccentric friend. It seems Don’t Get High is actress Erin Morton's debut on TV, as before this, she was known for Heathers: The Musical.
- Tony Hale as Officer Popkey
Tony Hale might be one of the most recognizable actors in the Don’t Get High cast. His character, Officer Popkey, is described as a school cop who takes his job too seriously. For the uninitiated, Hale is known for being one of the main protagonists, Gary Walsh, in Veep.

- Chloe Hakola as Vicki
Vicki is the co-captain of the school's cheerleading team and a party girl who has gained infamy because of her partying. Hakola had appeared in a short named High Infidelity, which she also directed.

Ben is the charming and Handsome young man who shares captaincy of the cheerleading team with Vicki. Macoy Stewart was previously seen in the DC comics show Doom Patrol and The Summer I Turned Pretty.
