Episode 1 of Dynamite Kiss shows Go Da-rim, an adult woman who is stuck in her life. She's unemployed and often hears people talk behind her back and tease her for constantly facing setbacks in her career and even personal life.
At home, her sister gives her tickets to Jeju Island, not as a gift but to hide her from the wedding guests because she’s embarrassed about Da-min’s career. On the other side, Gong Ji-hyeok is a well-established man who can be seen in a virtual meeting with leaders of different countries.
Ji-hyeok was looking for the best deal, and he was surprised to see how the Arab official offered him ten times the amount of the deal. However, with one condition: He wants a man named Jeon-gwon to step into the project.
Interestingly, Jeong-gwon turns out to be Da-rim's ex, and now Ji-hyeok wants to meet him at the earliest. So he asks his friend to dig into his profile and finds out that Jeong-gwon is on Jeju Island.
This way, both Ji-hyeok and Da-rim arrive at the Island and even cross paths. By the end of the episode, Ji-hyeok asks Da-rim to be his fake girlfriend, as Jeong-gwon's new girlfriend is Da-rim's school friend, and they can hang out together as couples.
By the end of the episode, Jeong-gwon starts suspecting that Da-rim is in a fake relationship. However, she takes a big step by kissing Ji-hyeok, igniting a spark between the two. Ji-hyeok fails to stop himself and kisses Da-rim back, hinting he might be falling for her.
What to expect from Dynamite Kiss episode 2?
Episode 2 of Dynamite Kiss will bring back Ji-hyeok and Da-rim as a fake couple for now. And after the kiss, Ji-hyeok asks her to stay his girlfriend for one more day and even takes her on a date.
However, things will change soon as Da-rim will learn that her mother has fainted and needs attention. This will force Da-rim to leave immediately, and she won't get a chance to say goodbye to Ji-hyeok.
