The story in Dynamite Kiss keeps getting interesting with each episode, and even leaves viewers thinking about what could be Da-rim's next step. The K-drama began by introducing her as a woman in her 30s who hasn't achieved anything in life and is also struggling financially.
On the other side, Gong Ji-hyeok is a consultant and also the son of the CEO of a reputed company in Seoul. And when these two cross paths, there's an immediate clash, and then they're forced to pretend to be a couple.
Soon, the spark turns into something more as Ji-hyeok and Da-rim share a kiss and later enjoy a date. But when Da-rim leaves without notice, Ji-hyeok is left wondering what happened to her.
Finally, in episode 3 of Dynamite Kiss, Ji-hyeok is able to see Da-rim, but he's barely happy. The synopsis of episode 3 reads:

Dynamite Kiss episode 3 recap: Da-rim's new beginning turns messy as she reunites with Ji-hyeok
Dynamite Kiss episode 3 begins with Da-rim forcing herself to attend the job interview she has been scared to face. Each time she hesitates, she thinks of the past and how people have looked down on her.
When she reaches the venue, she’s surprised to find that Ji-hyeok has ditched the interview panel, leaving the other members to handle it. Even with the shaky start, Da-rim performs impressively and earns the position.
The next day, Da-rim goes to visit her mother at the hospital and tells her that she has got a job. This makes her mother incredibly happy and Da-rim also leaves with full excitement for her first day of work.
However, the excitement fades away right when Da-rim sees Ji-hyeok standing in front of her. She learns that Ji-hyeok is the team leader of this team of mothers and will select only one after six months for a permanent position.
Ji-hyeok cannot digest the fact that the woman he nearly spent a night with is someone who claimed to be a married mother. He takes the situation far too literally and accuses her of lying her way into the company. He then takes Da-rim to the terrace and asks her to resign. But this job is the only hope, so Da-rim refuses to obey Ji-hyeok in episode 3 of Dynamite Kiss.

Da-rim and Ji-hyeok clash in episode 3 of Dynamite Kiss
The next day, Ji-hyeok confronts Da-rim once again in episode 3 of Dynamite Kiss. This time, Da-rim finally snaps. She warns him that if he keeps pushing her, she won’t hesitate to reveal what almost happened between them. She walks away ashamed of her lies but still unable to come clean.
Ji-hyeok then plans to give a meaningless assignment and task to Da-rim, thinking it might exhaust her and she might finally resign. However, Da-rim gets the work done and is ready to face her boss even if he makes her work harder.
Later in the episode, Ha-yeong is dealing with pressure from her father to abandon her artistic ambitions and settle down. Her marriage has been fixed with Ji-hyeok, and she's trying her best to win his heart. She then meets Seon-woo and asks him for permission to use one of his photographs
Later that night, a small camp used for heating products catches fire. Ji-hyeok panics, imagining Da-rim is stuck inside, and runs to put out the flames. However, she comes with a fire extinguisher and handles the situation.
Ji-hyeok hugs her, hinting that he's still in love with Da-rim. However, Ji-hyeok chooses to clash with her once again, and while leaving drops his phone. Da-rim notices that the dried flower she gave Ji-hyeok is still under his phone cover. But soon, Ji-hyeok throws that flower in episode 3 of Dynamite Kiss.
Da-rim throws herself into the pool to save her team's report in Dynamite Kiss episode 3
That night, Da-rim meets Ji-hyeok at the pool to hand in her report, but the moment quickly turns ugly. Instead of looking at her work, he lashes out and accuses her of using men to climb ahead. His words hurt Da-rim, and she calls out Ji-hyeok for being a spoiled rich son who has never faced any challenges in life.
Their argument gets heated fast, and both of them start saying things out of frustration rather than honesty. Da-rim then gets on her knees and requests Ji-hyeok to at least have a look at the report.
And when Ji-hyeok finally takes it, he throws the file into the swimming pool. This leaves Da-rim in panic and she jumps into the water to protect the file. She finds it hard to come out, forcing Ji-hyeok to save her.
