Da-rim and Ji-hyeok's story is getting interesting in every episode of Dynamite Kiss, the latest K-drama that's gaining attention for moving away from a typical love story. As seen in most of the shows, the main characters fell in love gradually and ultimately shared a kiss.

But in Dynamite Kiss, the first episode features the most memorable moment between Ji-hyeok and Da-rim, followed by their love story gradually unfolding. From comedic scenes of workplace tension, the story has it all.

What happened in Dynamite Kiss episode 4: A quick recap

Episode 4 features Ji-hyeok helping out Da-rim after she threw herself into the pool. Da-rim then convinces Ji-hyeok to read the report, and he even gives her feedback to work on the file and drives Da-rim back home.

However, the moment she reaches her doorstep, the loan sharks chasing her family’s debt appear. Ji-hyeok unknowingly walks straight into the situation when he comes back to return her phone, causing the men to notice her.

Da-rim takes Ji-hyeok, and the two hide in the neighborhood. When the loan sharks are gone, Seon-u introduces himself as Da-rim's husband. Ji-hyeok is clearly jealous and goes back.

The episode also reveals Ji-hyeok’s painful past during a visit to his hospitalized mother, where he recalls the day his father brought home a child from an affair. At the same hospital, Ji-hyeok meets Da-rim and her mother.

He realizes that Da-rim is actually struggling with money, with loan sharks searching for her. By the end of episode 4, Da-rim is kidnapped by those men, and Ji-hyeok makes an entry with his black card.

Episode 5 of Dynamite Kiss promises another fun-packed ride for viewers. Da-rim will bring a fresh report to Ji-hyeo, which will lead them to argue about her husband. She tries to defend him, which makes Ji-hyeok even more jealous.

There's a new task coming up, and Ji-hyeok will assign the pitch to Da-rim. The two will also visit a village where women will ask if she has ever raised a baby. Does that mean Da-rim's lie is about to be exposed?
