The Amazing Race 37's recently released tenth episode saw Brett and Mark's elimination. The duo was sent home after they arrived last at the current leg's pit stop. It happened because they were lost on their way twice during the episode.
After their elimination, Brett and Mark appeared on Nerdtainment's podcast, released on May 9, 2025, hosted by Sarah Atwood. They reflected on their journey throughout The Amazing Race Season 37 and their performance in each leg.
When the host asked Brett and Mark about participating in roadblock challenges alternatively, and if that was their strategy, Mark responded:
"Yeah, Brett should have done eFoil 100%. But at that point in time, we're like, we don't want to back ourselves into a corner. I'm kind of glad, we did it because we really learned that like, either of us could do anything. It's just a matter of who's gonna do it faster, right? And, so we definitely were trying to give us room to breathe. We didn't want either of us to be like only having one or zero left."
The Amazing Race Season 37's Brett and Mark open up about their strategy for the competition, and more

For that, Brett added:
"We, kind of, yeah, we wanted to make sure that we had options for whatever came down the path like, down the road. But I had did a few in a row and then...that's why we made certain decisions towards the eFoil."
Recalling The Amazing Race Season 37's seventh leg, which featured Dubai, Sarah asked if they found Wiz Khalifa there. While Brett said they were searching for him, Mark added, they don't even know what he looks like.
After they joked about that, Mark said it was "fun" not having Google or their phones with them while navigating through various places.
"You just...whatever people say, they say," said Mark.
For the show's eighth leg, featuring Bulgaria, Sarah mentioned the task where the priest threw the cross in the water, which was right by Mark's feet. However, for that, Mark told Brett to get it from the water. Recalling that, Mark mentioned he didn't want to get in the water, because water is not his "thing."
Additionally, Mark acknowledged how Sarah remembered the specific task and what happened during that moment when he didn't want to get into the water, even though the cross was by his side.
"That's such an accurate encapsulation of our day-to-day," added Mark.
Curious about why Mark felt that way about water, Sarah asked about it.
"I'm just not a huge like...I don't...people feel free and joyful in the water, and that's just not how I feel. It's just not how I feel," revealed Mark.
Further in their discussion, they talked about their elimination and their performance during various legs of the show.
