Emily in Paris Season 5: Will Alfie return? Here’s what we know so far

When it comes to some of the most attractive men in Emily in Paris, many will think of Alfie. He first met Emily at the French learning classes, and the two didn't bond immediately.

Lucien Laviscount talked about returning to Emily in Paris Season 5 on Netflix

Actor Lucien Laviscount is confirmed to appear in Emily in Paris Season 5 and he even teased upcoming twists in the series. The actor said:

"It’s good to be back — to be back in Paris. We shot quite a little bit in Rome as well."

As for the plot of Season 5, Lavinscount shared:

"I didn't know what to expect — none of us do before we get the scripts — and we got the scripts for this season and it's... Yeah, I don't think anyone could have foreseen that coming."

The actor also shared that he enjoys playing Alfie because the character is honest. No matter how awkward, tense, or painful a situation might be, Alfie doesn’t hide how he feels.

Laviscount adds that he relates to that same trait in real life. Like Alfie, he tries to be open and truthful, especially when things get complicated. He seems to admire this part of the character just like fans of the series.

Alfie's journey in Emily in Paris so far

Alfie isn't just a charming character in the show, as he also becomes an influential figure in Emily's life. He's firwork-to-liventroduced as a confident and witty banker paired with Cooper during French course classes.

Post-breakup, Alfie builds a new life in Paris, staying close to Emily’s friends and finding stability in his career. Though their romance ends, he remains a key figure in the show. And now, he'll be back in Season 5, which focuses on Emily's new journey in Rome and also hints at a complicated love life even when she's with Marcello.
