F1: The Academy revolves around ex-F1 driver, Susie Wolff, who now holds a key postion at the F1 Academy (managing director). She has been a prominent face in the sport and after more than two decades, she became the first female driver to be a part of Formula 1 weekend racing.

Back in 2023, the F1 Academy had its inauguration and the next year, Abbi Pulling bagged the trophy on behalf of Rodin Motorsports. Over time, there has been a lot of challenges for women to be a part of and excel in one of the most presigious racing competitions.

The latest docuseries will portray the setbacks as well as moments of triumph on the track - not to mention the kind of rollercoaster of emotions that always accompanies. The F1 Academy was established to train young aspiring women talents and upskill them on their journey all the way up to Formula 1.

The latest trailer of F1: The Academy (that was released by Netflix a few days back) unfolds featuring glimpses from the track as high-paced cars race against each other. One of the drivers is seen narrating how much time they get to 'prove' themselves. To quote her exact words:

"We only have two years in F1 Academy to prove we've got what it takes."

It evidently shows how challenging it can be to survive in the Academy and emerge victorious. As the minute-long clip further unravels, an unseen narrator is heard saying:

"Fifteen of the best female drivers from around the globe. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity."

The trailer also features a good amount of action on the pitch and how one small mistake on the driver's part can get her out of the Academy. Susie Wolff, MD of the academy, will be a pivotal part of the series.

The show will also serve up exclusive interviews with the ex-driver and how her visionary approach towards the sport changed it once and for all. F1: The Academy will not only just be a display of the glory but also the kind of struggle and pressure the young women have to survive to make it to the big leagues.
