Fallout Episode 2 cast and characters: Here's who brought the Prime Video series to life

Prime Video's post-apocalyptic drama Fallout delves into the aftermath of the fictional Great War of 2077. The nuclear war left the survivors with no option but to seek refuge in Vaults that were led by Vault-Tec, which performed different experiments on them. Almost two centuries later, Lucy, a resident of Vault 33, decides to sneak out and find her father, who has been taken away by wasteland raiders.

Episode 2 of Fallout, titled 'Target' introduces key players and raises the stakes for Lucy MacLean and the people she meets above ground. The hour mixes vault politics, Brotherhood of Steel motives, and brutal town violence.

The episode features several stars and emerging talents. Ella Purnell anchors the series as Lucy. Walton Goggins appears as the Ghoul, also known as Cooper Howard. Ella Purnell as Lucy Maclean

The Yellowjackets star portrays Lucy Maclean in Prime Video's Fallout. She was introduced in Episode 1 as a Vault 33 resident whose wedding day was ransacked by raiders who tricked them and kidnapped her father, Hank. Lucy pleads with the council for a search party to find her father, but they refuse. She finally sneaks out into the world, determined to find her father. In Episode 2, her adventures take her to the town of Filly.

Aaron Moten as Maximus

Aaron Moten plays Maximus, and he is a member of the Brotherhood of Steel. In Episode 2, we find him on his mission with Knight Titus as they head towards Filly. After Maximus leaves behind an injured Knight Titus in the jungle as he complains that he is the worst squire. Before leaving, he gets his hand on Titus' power armour. In Episode 2, his face-off with The Ghoul is a must-watch scene.

Walton Goggins as The Ghoul/ Cooper Howard

Walter Goggins plays Cooper Howard, also called the Ghoul. He appears in episode 2 as a lethal presence in the town of Filly. He attacks Wilzig and shoots him in his foot. Goggins has a reputation for roles that blend charm and menace. His performance anchors the show's more violent set pieces. However, after June shouts a 1000 bottlecaps bounty on The Ghoul, the town attacks him.

In the end, he is unbothered until Maximus interferes, and he shoots him. The Ghoul's bullet does not harm Maximus as such, but in the end, The Ghoul manages to knock him out. He finds Wilzig's dog and sets out to hunt Wiltzig down. Some of his works include The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones, and Justified, to name a few.

Michael Emerson as Dr. Siggi Wilzig

Emerson is known for his nuanced, quietly sinister characters in shows like Lost and Person of Interest. In Episode 2, he is seen as a doctor/researcher with a dog called CX404 and an unsettling commitment towards his experiments. Unfortunately, due to the leg wound, he collapses and dies by the end of Episode 2.

Emerson's restraint makes Wilzig feel unpredictable and mysterious in certain ways. The dog CX404 also functions as a character, and its scenes influence action and motive.
