AMC showed the first official trailer for Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. The popular spin-off follows Daryl Dixon, portrayed by Norman Reedus, as he travels through a zombie-infested Europe. The most recent video promises new moments, as well as future challenges and locations for the series.

After assisting in transporting Laurent and Ash to safety in the United States, Daryl and Carol were able to depart France at the end of the previous season. The team faced confusion and hallucinations throughout their journey through a treacherous tunnel between France and England, but they survived the obstacles. As the season ended, Daryl and Carol began the next phase of their adventure through England, setting the framework for what would come next.

The latest teaser shows Daryl and Carol, escaping a post-apocalyptic London by boat and a new character, Stephen Merchant, who is said to be the "last Englishman in England," joins them.

When a storm destroys their boat, leaving them stranded on the Spanish shore, their escape takes an unexpected turn.

After landing in Spain, Daryl and Carol find a concerning situation in which local town trade young women for security. As expected, Carol and Daryl step in to interrupt the trade while still dealing with the zombie threat and the new locale has given the series a dark, gritty tone.

This is similar to the survival horror ambiance of video games such as Resident Evil 4. Additionally, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 introduces a number of new cast members, such as Alexandra Masangkay, Óscar Jaenada, and Eduardo Noriega and as the program delves deeper into the post-apocalyptic world of Europe, these performers broaden the plot and give it additional depth.

AMC revealed that the show has been renewed for a fourth and final season during the Comic-Con event. In Spain, production for this last season will shortly start. Eight episodes make up the final season, which is anticipated to conclude Daryl and Carol's story.

Norman Reedus called the final season a celebration of the characters and their journey thus far, and he thanked fans for their unwavering support. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 will be released on September 7, 2025, on AMC and AMC+.
