Big Brother: Unlocked star and season 24 champion Taylor Hale is moving on to The Amazing Race, another reality TV venture.
In Season 38, the Detroit native, who has been a beloved Big Brother companion series host, will leave the studio lights and compete internationally. She won't be alone in this journey as Hale is joining the show with her partner, Kyland Young, who is also a Big Brother veteran.
Thirteen teams of former Big Brother houseguests and their partners, from siblings to close friends to romantic duos, will compete in this new season of The Amazing Race, which premieres on September 25, 2025.
Hale has a major challenge ahead of her. Her perseverance on Big Brother, surviving six nominations and still achieving a record victory, made her a household celebrity. She will soon put that same tenacity to the test when she races across Europe in an experience that is expected to be both emotionally and physically taxing.
What this means for Taylor Hale and Big Brother: Unlocked
The next phase of Taylor Hale's reality TV career will mark her transition from Big Brother: Unlocked to The Amazing Race. Hale has demonstrated her versatility by managing house drama and facilitating discussions as a host. She's now set to venture on a new journey with the new show.
An unprecedented season with Big Brother alumni
The cast of The Amazing Race Season 38 is drawn entirely from the Big Brother: Unlocked universe for the first time. The roster features well-known individuals, Jag Bains, Chelsie Baham, and Enzo Palumbo, in addition to Taylor and Kyland. While some contestants are running with family, Hale and Young are the only romantic duo who were also in Big Brother.
New twists raise the stakes
A significant pre-race challenge in Amsterdam is introduced in Season 38. Teams will battle for an Express Pass before the first leg even starts, and the side with the slowest time will receive a Hazard penalty.
The challenge will bring contestants wonderful and demanding challenges, including skydiving at 13,000 feet over Romania and navigating the canals of Amsterdam.
Through The Amazing Race, Taylor Hale and Kyland Young enter a season full of classic characters, thrilling turns, and world events. Big Brother fans should make sure to tune into this crossover television show.
