Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro are back as father-daughter duo Luke and Emma in FUBAR Season 2 that premiered on Netflix on June 12, 2025. Picking up where the story left off in the previous season, the second installment of FUBAR sees most of the core cast members returning along with some new additions to the team.
At the end of FUBAR Season 1, it was shown that Luke and Emma had to pack their lives up and go into hiding as their identities had been made public by Boro. This meant that they had to take all their loved ones with them as their lives were also in danger.
This ending set up an intriguing premise for the next season as all these characters had to find a way to manage their lives together and also start from scratch as they could not bring anything from their previous lives.
Let us now explore in detail the cast of FUBAR Season 2, including the new characters.
New and returning main cast and characters of FUBAR Season 2
Monica Barbaro as Emma Brunner
Monica Barbaro returns as Emma Brunner in this season as well. Her character is shown to be a CIA agent just like her father, Luke, though they were previously unaware of each other’s identity. The revelation happened only when Luke was sent on a mission to rescue her, which was also supposed to be his last mission.
Barbaro’s previous projects include Top Gun: Maverick, A Complete Unknown, At Midnight etc.
Arnold Schwarzenegger as Luke Brunner
Arnold Schwarzenegger also returns as Luke Brunner in the second installment of the Netflix show. Being a CIA agent, Luke was never able to give his daughter Emma the time or love she deserved.
However, what he did not know was that his daughter was also a CIA agent and his final mission was to rescue her. As he did that and also left Boro to die in an explosion, the latter got out and made their identities public, forcing them to go into hiding. In season 2, he is faced with a new enemy, who also happens to be his ex.
Schwarzenegger’s other projects include Total Recall, The Terminator, Predator etc.
Carrie-Anne Moss as Greta Nelson
Carrie-Anne Moss is a new addition to the cast of FUBAR for its second season. She plays the main antagonist Greta Nelson, with whom Luke shares a past — and possibly lingering feelings. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between the two unfolds because of the history between them.
Carrie-Anne Moss has previously starred in projects like Memento, The Matrix, Jessica Jones etc.
Guy Burnet as Theodore Chips
Guy Burnet plays the role of Theodore Chips, an MI6 agent who starts off as an antagonist but eventually changes for the better. While he appears charming and sweet and makes advances towards Emma, his character holds a deep secret that is revealed in the final moments of this season.
Guy Burnet's previous projects include Counterpart, Hollyoaks, Oppenheimer etc.
