Bravo's Next Gen NYC premiered on June 3, 2025. The first episode of the reality show featured cast members getting acquainted and learning more about each other.

One of the incidents featured on the premiere that grabbed netizens' attention was Georgia's thoughts on hand-washing. There was drama following the moment when she refused to wash her hands after using the bathroom. It included Georgia, Gia, and Riley.

According to Georgia, she was "pro germ," so she didn't believe in washing hands. However, when Riley was surprised, she asked her if she was serious. The discussion went quiet long time, as no one was expecting to learn that about Georgia.

Witnessing how Georgia refused to wash her hands after "girls' trip to the bathroom," fans criticized her behavior. Netizens took to the social media platform X and reacted to the situation.

A fan commented about Georgia not washing her hands:

Next Gen NYC Premiere: Georgia refused to wash her hands because she was "pro germ"

Next Gen NYC Episode 1 featured female cast members going to the bathroom, after which Georgia shocked some of the fellow females. It happened as they were leaving, Riley asked Georgia if she didn't want to wash her hands.

"I don't really believe in that. I'm pro germ," said Georgia.

But, Riley asked if she was serious.

"I'm dead a*s (serious)," responded Georgia.

Surprised to hear that, Next Gen NYC star Riley asked her if she didn't wash her hands. Georgia replied that she has been the kid who would eat a candy "off the sidewalk."

Later, when everyone returned to the lounge, Riley mentioned she didn't want to touch Georgia because she didn't wash her hands. Georgia said she didn't have any allergies, she "never" gets the flu, and more.

In her private confessional, Georgia stated that germs grow an individual's microbiome, and that it was scientifically proven. She added that germs were "good." After learning Georgia's views on cleanliness, fans criticized her mindset about germs and not washing hands.
