The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 episode 13 served as a much-needed break from all the chaos that has been going on in the lives of our stars. Plus, it was for a good cause, so it's a win-win.
This also brought back the authenticity of the format that fans once used to see in the earlier seasons, where, if anything went wrong, the housewives would pack up and leave for a trip to rewind. However, that trip would also bring a lot of drama, and this recent one with the Atlanta girls was no exception.
Brit Eady was the target of the week in more ways than one. Shamea was arranging for a hurricane relief package for the victims in Grenada and asked her co-stars to help contribute to the same.
When Brit appeared on this Real Housewives of Atlanta episode, she had bought just three packs of toilet paper, which was laughable. She claimed that was everything she could fit in her car, like girl, be for real.
Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 episode 13 Recap - Drew versus Porsha
Now, there has been some long-standing tension between Drew and Porsha. If this were the earlier seasons of the show, Porsha would have eaten Drew alive. But recently, she has decided that being calm means being mature and is sticking by it.
But this does not mean that things don't affect the housewife; she just doesn't show it on national TV. However, to make peace before the ladies head on to their "reset" trip, Porsha decided to invite Drew for a coffee date.
While keeping things civil, Porsha asks her if she is dating a guy named Black. This information has been flying around in their group for a while. Drew denies but throws the ball back in Porsha's court by asking her if she is having a fling with Future. The conversation soon turns sour, and Porsha decides to leave.
Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 episode 13 Recap - The trip to Grenada
Next on Real Housewives of Atlanta, the ladies head to Grenada and go through the entire trip process that fans have loved to see. They play games, someone has to sleep in twin beds, and share gossip all around. Upon reaching, Angela, who has joined this season, has to share a room with Porsha and makes sure to have the last word about it. She says,
"I have no problem sharing a room with Porsha because Charles is safe at home."
Another fact is that she has left her husband at home while it is their eighth anniversary, just to have an international trip with the ladies. At dinner, everyone starts targeting Drew and shares their grievances with the housewife.
The conversation that was left in the middle during the coffee date between Drew and Porsha earlier in this episode resurfaces. Porsha says that she and Drew can never be friends because of how she spread a rumor about her on TV.
And to think that old Porsha was gone was a mistake because she was hiding underneath all along. Remember how she had asked her about dating a guy named Black? She turned the situation so fast at the dinner that it felt like a checkmate for Drew.
Porsha twisted the conversation in such a way that it allowed the latter to admit dating Black just so she could prove that she was not sleeping with Dennis. Either way, her personal life will become everybody's business, and dating amidst divorce proceedings will also throw off her legal case.
