Good Boy is a new K-drama that is capturing attention with its cool action, heartfelt emotions, and career changes you would never expect. It follows a group of ex-Olympic athletes who, after leaving international fame behind, are recruited to join a specialized police task force.

All of them once stood on the podium as winners. But this time, they must assert themselves again as rookie officers, entering a law enforcement profession where the criminals are unpredictable and dangerous.

The leading cast member is a fan favourite, Park Bo-gum (from When Life Gives You Tangerines), who stars as Yoon Dong-joo, an ex-boxing champion with a strong sense of justice and an even stronger right hook.

What makes this show so compelling is its fresh take on second chances. These characters are more than their old successes, they are complicated, passionate, and trying to learn how to survive in a world that no longer cheers for them.

The action-comedy is directed by Shim Na-yeon and written by Lee Dae-il, offering grit and heart to every episode. Episode 3 of Good Boy releases on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:40 p.m. KST on JTBC as part of its weekend release schedule.

In the latest episode, Dong-ju defeated Golden Bunny and put him behind bars. But not for a long time, as the criminal is taken away and the case is also given to another team, despite Dong-ju's efforts.

The misfits have been put into a special crime investigation team under Man-sik, but they are currently just used as a PR team for the Insung Police Department. During the event, Ha-na ended up shooting the commissioner as he asked her to shoot at the mannequin chest, but she shot him instead.

While Jong-hyeon managed to convince the commissioner not to fire Ha-na, she's planning to leave the team. However, with the criminal still out, the former shooter might consider returning to the team and proving herself.

At the end of Episode 2, Dong-ju finally recognizes the man who is the actual culprit in the hit-and-run case. But it is not going to be easy to expose him, and Dong-ju might constantly find himself in danger.

What to expect from Good Boy Episode 3?

In the Good Boy Episode 3, Dong-ju's quest to prove Gyeong-il's innocence will continue. As seen in the preview, he is visiting places looking for clues, and this time, even Jong-hyeon and Man-sik will help him.

At the same time, the police department mole continues to leak information, with the officers trying hard to capture him. As for Ha-na, the nation has high hopes for her, while she is dealing with emotional turmoil.

The traitor is still out, and so are the police officers, determined to find out who has been disloyal to the law enforcement. While viewers know it's Mr. Oh and the one from the Insung Custom office, the police are currently unaware of this betrayal.
