Dong-ju and his team returned in Good Boy Episode 3, as the criminals continue to push forward with their plans, and the mole inside the Insung Police Department still hasn’t been uncovered. However, Dong-ju knows that Min Ju-young, the officer from the customs services department, is the one behind the hit-and-run case.
Dong-ju is trying hard to prove Ju-young guilty of the crime, but his cousin Gyeong-il didn't tell the truth. He was forced to take the blame for the accident and the ultimate death of another officer, which resulted in his imprisonment.
The episode also revealed that Gyeong-il was a boxer, but his life took an unexpected turn. Following his confession, the news broke on every channel, leaving Gyeong-il's mother heartbroken.
She begged Dong-ju to save his cousin, but no one could have predicted that Gyeong-il would be killed and that his death would be made to look like a suicide. So, what's next? Will Dong-ju find the truth that Gyeong-il was murdered?

Good Boy Episode 4: Everything to know
The fourth episode of the K-drama Good Boy is officially set to air today, Sunday, June 8, 2025. In South Korea, it will be broadcast at 10:40 PM KST on the JTBC television network.
If you’re watching from outside South Korea, don’t worry. The show is also available to stream internationally on Amazon Prime Video. However, note that English subtitles usually take some time to be added, so they’ll most likely appear within 24 hours after the episode airs in Korea.

What happened in Good Boy Episode 3: A quick recap
In Good Boy Episode 3, Dong-ju once again beat up Min Ju-young for torturing and forcing Gyeon-il and his tragic death. The former boxer couldn't hold back his tears after learning that his cousin is no more, and now even his aunt doesn't want to see him anymore.
These heart-rending incidents have fueled Dong-ju with rage and the determination to take down Ju-young and his shady business. He continues his search for the hit-and-run vehicle, but the criminal has hidden it in a place that’s nearly impossible to trace.
At the same time, Jong-hyun had to confront his brother, who's now an attorney. The two didn't seem to have a close bond, as his elder brother refused to help when Jong-hyun asked for help in the hit-and-run case.
Meanwhile, Ha-na opens a box filled with her late father’s belongings and discovers he owned a watch much like Min Ju-young’s. When she takes it to the pawn shop, the man tells him that it was once a limited edition, and only a few could get it through illegal means.
Ha-na also noticed that Dong-ju sold his Sao Paolo 2018 championship gold medal, so she bought it for him. Her gesture motivates Dong-ju to keep chasing the criminal until he finally catches him.
What to expect from Good Boy Episode 4?
As seen in the preview, Jong-hyun has finally joined Man-sik's team, and now these misfits are all set to work together on Gyeon-il's case and to track down notorious criminals in Insung. As Dong-ju says, "Sometimes you've got to do something wrong to do what's right", even if it means breaking the law that already has some corrupt officials.
Man-sik then pairs Ha-na with Jong-hyun and Dong-ju with Jae-hong, which disappoints the former boxer as he would always wish to stay around Ha-na, his first love. The Episode 4 preview also reveals Ha-na exploring more about her father, something unexpected that might hurt her the most.
