"Half the cast cheated": The Challenge fans react to participants' behavior in the latest Broken Dreams task

The Challenge Season 41 Episode 9 aired on September 24, 2025. The latest episode of the MTV show featured an unexpected turn of events during the daily challenge.

While participants were supposed to go through a series of tasks, one of them involved eating garlic, onion, and pepper. However, during the task, some participants came across discarded vegetables left by other contestants.

Seeing such behavior from the participants sparked a debate among the show's fans. They took to the social media platform X and criticized the participants. Some of the fans also discussed the "cheating" aspect, as leaving those vegetables would not necessarily mean finished tasks.

"Half the cast cheated but Dee the only name yall got on your mouths, that's my sister !!! #TheChallenge41" a fan wrote on X.

"I think TJ should have outed every single person who cheated #TheChallenge41," another fan commented.

"My added theory of why I think the cheaters weren't punished... could be wrong but I don't think Turbo cheated. Sydney did & her help was how Turbo finished 1st. No way he was going to get that word. They could penalize her but she still impacted the final outcome #TheChallenge41," another fan wrote on the platform.

"I can not be the only person to think that it was absolute BS to not penalize the cheaters. Bare minimum... call them out. I'm guessing that they weren't sure of everyone who did but it legit sucks #TheChallenge41," a person commented.

The Challenge Season 41 Episode 9: Participants' behavior during the task sparks a debate among fans

Recently released The Challenge Season 41 episode featured a challenge called Broken Dreams. For this, participants had to complete various tasks. One of those tasks was to eat the given vegetables. This included raw onion, garlic, pepper, and more.

However, the challenge took a turn when some of the participants came across discarded vegetables on the ground near the task area. When the show host, TJ Lavin, learned about this, he excluded the scores from consideration.

Witnessing such behavior from some participants during a challenge, fans were not pleased. They went to the social media platform X and shared their thoughts on the situation.

Some of the fans also referred to the incident as "cheating" by the participants. At the same time, some other fans demanded that The Challenge host should have called out the responsible players, instead of cancelling all their scores from the said task.
