Jonathan and Jordan Knight, brothers and Rock the Block stars, have proven to be more than just musical superstars; they are also major design contenders. The New Kids on the Block duo wowed viewers in season 6 of the HGTV show with their creative instincts and keen eye for detail. But, according to Jonathan, it was Jordan who actually stood out with unexpected design brilliance.

“He’s got such a great eye,” said Jonathan. “He really surprised me. I remember 10 minutes before one of our reveals, he looked at me and went, ‘Jon, it’s not right.’ And I was like, ‘It’s really good,’ but he insisted it wasn’t right, ran into the space and started rearranging the whole room. I went down there and went, ‘Wow, you’re right. This is so much better!’”

This was a watershed moment for Jordan, demonstrating his natural knack for layout and flow.

Throughout the season, the partnership has produced amazing outcomes in each area, frequently combining usefulness with an enhanced aesthetic. Their collaboration has become a fan favorite, but Jordan's precise touch continues to astound judges and fellow contestants.

Rock the Block star Jonathan opens up about brother Jordan’s impressive eye for design

When Jonathan Knight originally pondered teaming up with his brother Jordan for Rock the Block, he wasn't sure Jordan was up to the task. The show's tough filming schedule and high-stakes competition put every designer's stamina and inventiveness to the test. To Jonathan's astonishment, Jordan not only consented to participate in the HGTV series, but also provided a keen eye and distinct perspective to the design table.

Jordan showed excellent instincts throughout the season. His inherent sense of spatial awareness and aesthetics made a significant difference during important revelation moments. While Jonathan had years of renovation experience, it was Jordan who frequently pushed for last-minute alterations that improved their plans. Their partnership showcased a strong creative synergy, with Jonathan proudly standing back to let his brother's surprise abilities shine.

Jonathan and Jordan build a goat farm in Rock the Block Season 6 Episode 6

Jonathan and Jordan Knight took a huge design risk in Rock the Block Season 6 Episode 6 by creating a functional and charming goat farm. While other teams concentrated on typical modifications, the Knight brothers embraced rural living, producing a one-of-a-kind area that reflected the property's rustic feel and demonstrated their dedication to authenticity.

The backyard reveal was full of surprises, and a little pandemonium. The judges were happy to see goats in the custom-built farm, but things got out of hand when the animals escaped, leading to a chase. Once the goats were secured, the focus switched to the rest of the outdoor area.

While the judges acknowledged that a fence would have been beneficial for better control, they praised the imaginative design throughout. The retractable screens on the back deck increased functionality, and the greenhouse, complete with power and a large dining table, was praised as a significant value addition.
