Love Island USA Season 7, Episode 8, featured Ace and Amaya having differing opinions. During one of their conversations, Amaya told him that he had chosen her during the recoupling ceremony, but he still had a strong connection with Chelley.

Love Island USA Season 7 Episode 8: Amaya and Ace get into an argument regarding his connection with Chelley

"So that's where I was confused and that's where I feel blindsided. So don't try to undermine how I feel," added Amaya.
