Heated Rivalry star François Arnaud shares what he wants to see in Season 2 for Scott Hunter and Kip

François Arnaud, who is well known for his role as Scott Hunter in Heated Rivalry, has shared some thoughts about the future of his character and his love interest, Kip, in the future of the series.

In an interview with Variety, the actor states how he envisions Scott Hunter and Kip's relationship in the upcoming Season 2. As per his statements, the Midnight Texas star mentions their romance is not being an uncomplicated, easy one, but rather, the duo should battle real-life challenges that come with fame as well as their distinct life choices. Arnaud states:

"I would want them to face the continuing challenges of someone uber-famous being with someone who didn’t choose that for his life at all and is forced into it."

François Arnaud talks about Scott Hunter and Kips' relationship in Heated Rivalry Season 2

As per the outlet, François Arnaud mentions raising the stakes of Scott Hunter and Kips' romantic relationship. As per his idea, it can be achieved by highlighting the contrast in both of their ways of living. Scott is a popular hockey player who has achieved celebrity status, whereas Kip is a barista who works at a smoothie shop.

Adding to the conversation, Arnaud also adds lighthearted praise for Kip in regard to his physical appearance, as he says:

“I think Kip, for the second season has to stop working out. That’s what I want to see. Like, he’s a smoothie boy. Why does he have the best body out of all of us?”

Going by François Arnaud's statements, the challenges as well as the relationship dynamics fit within the logic of Heated Rivalry. Scott has had his own share of trials and tribulations that he has faced in his sports career. Kip's life was completely away from the public eye, as he lived a rather more private and simple life.
