Hell's Kitchen Season 24 Episode 7: Gordon Ramsay sends Jonathan Boyd, aka Jon home

The latest Hell's Kitchen Season 24 episode started with the remaining participants from different states. Team Blue had five contestants, while Team Red had 7.

This includes:

  • Team Blue: Anthony, Chris, Henry, Jayden, Jon,
  • Team Red: Alexandra, Cara Marie, Anaiya, Cydni, Ellie, Jada, Lisa.

For the latest episode, the challenge was related to proteins. There were six types of proteins. Each team went through a Guac a Mole game and were given a 45-minutes time duration to prepare a Mexican entree. However, there was a twist, both the participants must use the same ingredients.

When the results were announced, Blue Team won with a 5-3 lead. They were treated with a fiesta with a Mexican lunch, spa, and additional rewards. On the other hand, Red Team was tasked with preparing tortillas for the dinner service challenge.

During the dinner service, Gordon Ramsay worked on a new menu, which meant more chaos for the participants. It started when Jayden went ahead with an overcooked the lobster.

"It's butter-poached, not hammered," yelled Gordon Ramsay.

On the other hand, Hell's Kitchen's Red Team also faced issues. After witnessing raw scallops from Cydni, it didn't sit well with Gordon. One participant who delivered results was Jada from the Blue Team. However, she was sent back to the Red Team after they faced multiple issues. Gordon told her to help them.

Blue Team's service went smooth until Jon got the wrong cheese on the fries. Soon, Henry made a mistake by sending a raw pork. Things were getting intense at Red Team as well. While tossing around utensils, Anaiya screamed:

"I'm starting to get a little pissed off. This is f*cking embarrassing!"

Soon, she served raw chicken, followed by their team's undercooked salmon. Chris sent an overcooked steak, but made it better after second attempt. Soon, Team Red was kicked out of the kitchen. With only Blue Team in the kitchen, Gordon noted that theirs was not a winning performance.

Both the teams faced an intense situation when Gordon asked them to nominate two participants from each team.

  • Team Red: Cydni, Alexandra,
  • Team Blue: Henry, Jon.

Hell's Kitchen episode ended with Gordon announcing the elimination. He noted that there was nothing peacy about Peach State's Jon's performance. As a result, he was sent home.
