The Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 intro, like every other episode of this season, sees the characters dance to Foxy Shazam's Oh Lord. While a lot of viewers never skip the Peacemaker intro in both seasons 1 and 2, fans' collective minds were blown to learn that there was a subtle addition to the Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 intro.
The intro to Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 included a moment showing a background character along with Judomaster. While the said character appeared in the background, the fourth episode has fans realize that the opening intro for every episode of the series is different from the other in a subtle way.
The Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 intro includes a new shot of Michael Rooker, Judomaster, and Agent Angler:
The Oh Lord intro for Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 features three different shots of Michael Rooker and Judo Master, and Agent Angler. For the uninitiated, Agnler is one of the A.R.G.U.S.agents who is codenamed "Ti*t**s" by Tim Meadows's Langston Fleury. When a fan asked James Gunn on his Threads account about these new shots on Friday, September 12, 2025. To this, the DC Studios Co-CEO responded:
"Since the first week. But we didn't cut to his single until this week. Every episode the edits (edited by @fredraskin) are subtly different."
This revelation will surely keep fans on their toes to notice the subtle differences in the intro.
Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 hints at various interesting storylines in the next four episodes:
The fourth episode, apart from including a different shot in its intro, also unexpectedly gave the origin of Chris's QUC door in his home. The opening flashback scene of the episode reveals that DCU Auggie stole the QUC technology from an alien after brutally murdering him in front of his two sons. This scene dismisses the theory that the DCU Auggie was a genius despite being a bigot.
But Chris himself confirms that his deceased father was not a genius and that he just got lucky. Chris furthermore confirms the "complicated" backstory of all the Peacemaker helmets.
Apart from clarifying how the DCU Smith family gained access to the QUC technology, the episode also sheds light on how the interdimensional technology works. It looks like the portals are not set in stone as we may have initially believed. In fact, the source of the QUC portal is a metal case that Auggie took from the alien.
Chris takes the metal case and escapes with Eagly in Leota Adebayo's car to an abandoned family hunting lodge as A.R.G.U.S. raids his home. As A.R.G.U.S. successfully hacks the QUC door, Chris manages to close the portal inside his home and open it in the cabin. Chris briefly considers abandoning the DCU in favor of the alternate dimension. However, before he can make a decision, he messages the DCU Emilia Harcourt to meet.
But Harcourt, meanwhile, has opted to take up Rick Flag Sr.'s offer to help A.R.G.U.S. bring in Chris. Before the episode cuts to black, Chris is driving towards the park, as Emilia is waiting for him, with Flag Sr. and his agents nearby.
As we wait for the fifth episode, the first four episodes are accessible to stream via HBO Max.
