Billionaire investor Mark Cuban has been a renowned name on ABC's Shark Tank over the years. Ever since he announced that Shark Tank, Season 16, will be his last season, it has not been the same for some fans and entrepreneurs. With each season, the Sharks, who have become such a synonym for the show, have had fans enjoying their presence and unique personalities.

With Mark's departure, Shark Tank is surely going to face a big loss. It includes viewers, entrepreneurs, and fellow judges as well.

Mark Cuban joined as a guest judge during the second season. Soon, he became a full-time investor on the show, and since then, he has been with the show. The recent 16th season of the show is Mark Cuban's last season.

Shark Tank: Will it be the same without Mark Cuban on the panel?

For the fans who might not know, the reason behind Mark Cuban's departure from the Shark Tank is that he wants to spend more time with his kids. Leaving the show has not been an easy decision for him as well.

In multiple interviews, he has shared about the schedule conflict, which, now that his children are grown up, is not working out. On October 15, 2024, while on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, Mark Cuban stated:

"It's a really hard decision. I love the show. I love what it...the message it sends. But we shoot in June and September, which is right when my kids get out of school and right when they go back to school and I was missing it all these years. And now that they're teenagers and 21, this is like my last shot."

For the viewers wondering how much Mark has spent while investing in various deals on Shark Tank, he said that it was around $30 million. He added that he might be the one Shark who has invested in more products/companies than the rest combined.

Being such an investor who believes in giving opportunities, and his humorous nature, is surely going to be missed on Shark Tank. For the latest season, his fellow Sharks, Kevin O'Leary, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, and Daymond John, will also be missing Mark Cuban.

For the entrepreneurs who have been looking forward to pitching their product/service on the show and have been waiting for Mark Cuban to showcase their investment plan, they are not going to be happy with his departure.

Being on the show since the third season, Mark has shown compassion and offered opportunities to countless entrepreneurs. His unique outlook and nature that set him apart from the rest make him an unforgettable personality.

However, understanding the reason behind his departure is also important for all his fans and followers. Apart from Shark Tank, he also stepped back from his sports team, the Mavericks, to spend more time with his kids.

For now, fans can enjoy Mark Cuban on Shark Tank Season 16, streaming on ABC.
