High Potential Season 2 Episode 5 will air on ABC on October 14. Kaitlin Olson's second run as a high-IQ consultant, Morgan Gillory, airs weekly episodes on ABC every Tuesday. A day later, the episodes are also available to stream on Hulu.

High Potential Season 2 began with the haunting mystery of the Game Maker, which was left as a cliffhanger in the freshman season. With the mastermind behind bars for good, Morgan and her children are safe and she can finally focus on her husband's disappearance.

Episode 4 introduced Shameless star Steve Howey as the precinct's new captain, Nick Wagner. Since Morgan already left an impression on him, he could be trouble for her in the upcoming episodes.

High Potential Season 2 Episode 5: Release and streaming details

High Potential Season 2 Episode 5, titled 'Content Warning,' will air on ABC on October 14, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. A day later, viewers can also stream the new episode on Hulu, ABC's official streaming partner.

Content Warning will be aired in different countries according to their respective time zones. For viewers in Central Europe, Episode 4 will be released on October 15 at 4 a.m. CET. Similarly, UK fans can enjoy the new episodes a day later at 3 a.m. BST.

The past came calling in High Potential Season 2 Episode 4

High Potential Season 2 Episode 4, titled 'Behind the Music,' featured a strange murder case for Morgan and her team: a dementia patient named Raina. After Raina claimed to have seen a murder, Morgan and team realized that she had witnessed a crime 25 years ago (of her rival Greta) and was probably confused because of her early onset of dementia.

This reopens Greta's murder case from 25 years ago. Through Morgan's killer instincts and Greta's old photographs, the team discovers that Greta was killed by her manager/lover, Mac. After Karadec fatally shoots Mac, the team questions Lucy, Raina's new friend, about her murder. It is finally revealed that Lucy had accidentally pushed Raina while investigating her mother's (Greta's) murder.

In addition to this haunting mystery from the past, Morgan had a lot going on at the LAPD. Since Soto was up for the captain's position, which would automatically promote Karadec to lieutenant, she was worried about her future. However, Soto was passed over for the position and a new captain was brought from a different precinct. The final moments of Episode 4 saw Morgan chatting with a strange man, unaware that he is their new captain, Nick Wagner.

What can you expect from High Potential Season 2 Episode 5?

The official description for Content Warning reads as follows:

When a social media stunt turns deadly, Morgan and Karadec head to an influencer content house to track down answers; the LAPD team adjusts to Captain Nick Wagner's new role; Ava seeks out more information on Roman's disappearance.

The upcoming episode will feature a puzzling mystery for Morgan and team when an investigative reporter (undercover as an influencer) turns up dead. The LAPD will have two mysteries to solve: about the victim's dual identity and about her murder. The episode will likely deep dive into social media and influencer culture among the youth.

Elsewhere, the new captain's presence will change everything at the precinct for Morgan. After an awkward encounter in the elevator, she is already under Nick Wagner's radar and the preview suggests that our protagonist has earned another frenemy. With this major change at her job, how will Morgan continue to contribute to the LAPD?
