Andor Season 2 will conclude on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. This is the final season of the acclaimed Star Wars spin-off show run by filmmaker Tony Gilroy. As of now, nine out of the twelve episodes are accessible through Disney+. Over the course of nine episodes, all our heroes are put through the ringer, and that pressure blew up in the eighth episode through the Ghorman massacre.

But the ninth episode of Andor Season 2 is far more hopeful than the previous episode, which ended with the genocide of the Ghorman people by the Empire. This vicious action by the Empire prompted Mon Mothma to publicly resign as a senator and join the Rebel Alliance. Showrunner Tony Gilroy teased this moment in a March 2025 interview with Entertainment Weekly:

"Canonically, there's the moment where she leaves the Senate, and that's in our timeline. So we're definitely dealing with that, but I would say, of all the characters in the show, of all the hellacious things that people go through, and all of the difficulties and hardships, I don't think anybody has a harder road than she does. Because she has to do everything that everybody else does with all the tension, fear, and anxiety and she has to do it in public. She has nowhere to hide, and this season just ramps that up to an almost unbearable point."

He continued,

"What Genevieve is going to do in this second season — we realized in the first season what a brilliant actress she was and that we hadn't found the limits of what she could do. We still haven't found them. But he opportunity to write for her and write her story large was very important to me in the second season."

Here is when you can watch the next three episodes of Andor Season 2, which will conclude the entire solo series.

Where to watch the next three episodes of Andor Season 2?

The upcoming episodes of Andor Season 2 will be released on Disney+. When that happens, all twenty-four episodes of Andor (12 episodes of season 1 and 12 episodes of season 2) will be accessible through the streaming platform to binge. Furthermore, Tony Gilroy, during the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan, also teased the possibility of theatrically releasing this season of Andor:

"It's been discussed. We've mixed [Episodes] 1, 2, and 3 to play theatrically. They do need a little bit of an extra mix. We mix differently for how we deliver normally, because people watch on their iPads, on their TVs — it’s 5.1 [aspect ratio]. If you’re mixing for theaters, it's not like a switch. It takes a couple hours or a day to do that. So we have [Episodes] 1, 2, and 3. If there was enough interest, I'm sure Disney would roadshow it at some point. Why not? I think they have interest in showing [Episode] 12 going into Rouge [One], but that depends on how the show does. They look good on a big screen."

However, it is important to remember that there is no theatrical release date for Andor Season 2, nor do we know the release strategy.
