I absolutely hate 1000-Lb Sisters star Amy's idea of getting married in an asylum and you will too

After 1000-Lb Sisters' Amy Slaton accepted her boyfriend Brian Lovvorn's proposal, she started her wedding planning. Some individuals, similar to her sisters Tammy and Misty, might not agree with the engagement itself. But Amy is quite excited and has many things already planned out for her and Brian's wedding.

For instance, Amy doesn't want a "normal" wedding, but a wedding in "asylum." Yes, you read it right - an asylum. At the time of accepting Brian's proposal, the 1000-Lb Sisters star talked about getting married in a "real haunted house."

People in "love" have many unique and unusual ideas for getting married. But getting married in an asylum is something else. Listening to Amy talk about her wedding planning feels entirely different. In my opinion, Amy should not have accepted the proposal itself, let alone plan a potentially disastrous wedding.

1000-Lb Sisters Season 7: Amy has big plans for her wedding, including getting married in an asylum

In an exclusive first look for the upcoming 1000-Lb Sisters Season 7 episode, Amy Slaton revealed her wedding wish. While in conversation with her sister, Amanda, Amy mentioned, she doesn't want to have a "normal wedding." Her wish for the upcoming wedding with Brian is to get married in an asylum.

After Amanda got over the shocking news and Amy's wish, she literally told Amy that none of her siblings would want to attend such a wedding. However, Amy got offended and took it the wrong way, and got emotional.

Who would want their wedding in an asylum? Getting proposed in a haunted house, up to one point, was fine, but a wedding in an asylum is not going to work out well for Amy. Her thoughts of having a "normal" and "boring" wedding are understandable. However, it doesn't justify what she wants to do instead.

Viewers who have been following 1000-Lb Sisters must have noticed how impulsive Amy has been. Starting from Brian's proposal, she should have taken some time to think and then made a decision. The wise choice would have been to spend some more time with Brian and get to know him better.

However, seeing Brian and his actions, have started to feel like he's the literal male version of Amy. His behavior also often shows impulsiveness. It seems like he has been doing everything the way Amy has been wanting to. Starting from making her wish to get engaged in a haunted house, his choice of a ring with skull hands making a heart, and now their wedding.

Additionally, Amy never fails to blame her family, especially her siblings, whenever something goes against her wishes. In this particular instance, fans witnessed how Tammy and Misty felt about the whole haunted house proposal. That time, too, Amy got emotional in the parking lot after she learned about her sisters' thoughts on their engagement.

Here, when she revealed the asylum wedding, Amanda told her not to mess with "fire" or else she would get "burned." But, as usual, Amy funnily took Amanda's opinion and didn't listen to her. When Amanda mentioned that their siblings, including herself, might not attend the wedding if that were to be held at the asylum, Amy criticized her.

The 1000-Lb Sisters star confessed to not wanting to be "normal." She felt that her siblings were "ruining" her life "again." Somebody really needs to tell Amy that no one else, other than herself, is doing that. She should have realized by now to listen to her siblings and make mature choices. She also needs to understand not to take such commitments as a wedding so lightly.
