1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 5 Recap: While Tammy spends more time with her mom, Brian proposes to Amy at a haunted house

1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 5 aired on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The latest episode of the TLC show Keep the Eye on the Tiger featured Tammy spending more time with her mom. She wanted her new girlfriend to meet her mom. Tammy was concerned about the meeting, which is why she wanted to ease things.

On the other hand, Amy went to see a chiropractor. She mentioned that since her arrest, she has been looking forward to finding alternative ways to manage her pain. The latest 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 5 also saw Amy's boyfriend, Brian, proposing to her at a haunted house.

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"Tammy takes a big step forward in her relationship with Andrea; with Amy's court date looming, her boyfriend has a life-altering surprise up his sleeve that leaves everyone speechless."

The 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 5 saw Tammy going to the salon with her mom. While her mom, Darlene, got a haircut, they had a conversation about various things. Tammy confessed that she was happy to be able to help her mom with the wheelchair.

Mother-daughter also talked about Amy, who went to the ER to treat the infection in the camel bite. They also discussed the upcoming court hearing following Amy's arrest.

"She (Amy) did the deed, now let her pay the price," said her mom.

They also talked about Tammy's upcoming surgery, for which she was on track with her proteins. Her mom advised to keep her "eyes on the tiger." Later when her mom asked, how Tammy was doing, she talked about her girlfriend, Andrea.

"I've been hanging out with Andrea. We've been talking about coming and hanging out with you. So she meet you, you meet her."

The 1000-lb Sisters star confessed that she wanted Andrea to meet her mom before any other family member.

1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 5 Recap: Amy went to the chiropractor

Further in 1000-lb Sisters Season 7's fifth episode, Amy went to explore a few methods to help her ease her back pain. For that, she went to a chiropractor, where she underwent a few tests, after which the doctor checked her back.

"Today we're going to the chiropractor because my back has been hurt me since fifth grade basically and after I had gage it's even 20 times thousand words. My doctor prescribed me a card so I could smoke marijuana legally. It did help with the pain a lot but since you're risk I'm trying to seek alternative methods to quit."

Before meeting the chiropractor, Amy went through a few tests. One of them was a nervous system scan. While the test was to determine the stress level, the 1000-lb Sisters star Amy confessed that, with her personal life and four siblings, she didn't need any chips to tell her about the stress level.

After her tests, she met the doctor who told her the tension in her nervous system was 632, which is normally supposed to be between 10 and 100.

1000-lb Sisters Season 7: Brian proposes to Amy at a haunted house

The fifth episode saw Amy, Tammy, Misty, and Amy's boyfriend Brian going to a haunted house. Tammy confessed that it was not a good idea to visit a haunted house with Brian. She recalled Amy and Brian's last trip together, which was to the zoo, and Amy got bitten by a camel.

Seeing various artists roaming around the haunted house and some popping out of closets and behind the doors, Amy confessed:

"For a pop-up haunted house, it's pretty good. The actors were on point. This one girl was doing backflips and all the s*it. I'm like, damn."

While they were exploring various rooms of the haunted house, in one of the rooms' corners, Brian got on one knee and asked Amy:

"Amy. I know we both said we'd never do this again. But my love for you is insane. Will you marry me?"

1000-lb Sisters star Amy accepted her proposal and got engaged. However, things soon took a turn when Tammy and Misty looked at each other. They didn't talk in the presence of the newly engaged couple, but they were surprised. Later on the show, Amy got emotional after learning how Tammy and Misty felt.
