I can't believe 1000-lb Sisters' Amy Slaton hijacked Tammy's surgery day and made it all about her

Throughout the seventh season of 1000-lb Sisters, viewers witnessed Amy and Tammy going through various emotional highs and lows. Especially, Tammy with her newly achieved milestone and getting her much-awaited skin removal surgery.

However, while she was on her way towards better physical health, Amy was facing challenges of her own. After the camel bite, things took a turn, and she was arrested, gaining weight, and continuously getting into arguments with her siblings. The latest episode also featured how it was about Tammy's surgery, but Amy made it all about her.

While waiting for Tammy's surgery, she got emotional over her wedding, which her siblings refused to attend. It was not the place or time to talk about all those issues, but still, 1000-lb Sisters' Amy, once again, made it all about her.

1000-lb Sisters Season 7: Instead of focusing on Tammy's surgery, Amy made it all about herself

1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 7 featured Tammy going into surgery. Her siblings, including Amy, Chris, and Amanda, were waiting for the surgery to be over so that they could be there for Tammy. But, it didn't seem like Amy wanted to do that and be there for her sister.

She told Chris she wanted to go home after she had argued with Amanda. Soon, she got into another argument with Chris, who was trying to tell her why their siblings didn't want to attend her wedding. In her confessional, Amy mentioned how she didn't get support from Tammy, which everyone knows, Tammy has always been there for Amy. But, anyway.

Instead of being there for Tammy after she wakes up from the surgery, Amy wanted to leave. She made that day all about her and her wedding. Fans must know she has been planning her wedding in an asylum. Her siblings have been clear about not wanting to attend a wedding at such a haunted place.

However, Amy thinks everyone should support her and be there, regardless of their beliefs and fears. She forced the spotlight on herself and got emotional in front of the cameras. Tammy's journey towards weight loss and undergoing surgeries has been an achievement for her, but it seems like it was not that important to Amy.

Fans who have been following 1000-lb Sisters must know that this was not the first time Amy had done such a thing. There have been multiple incidents in which Amy has exhibited self-centered behavior. Whether it is about her being a parent, going through a divorce, or an unexpected emotional meltdown, she keeps on making everything about her.

Undoubtedly, she also went through struggles, including weight loss. But lately, she has not been conscious of her health. No matter which of their family members has a big moment, Amy has been overshadowing their joy and making it all about her. It is quite disappointing to see Amy doing this, especially to Tammy, after such a significant milestone and surgery.

Fans enjoy raw and emotional bonds between the siblings and occasional disagreements between the sisters. An argument now and then is also understandable, but making it all about themselves, absolutely disappointing behavior from Amy.
