I can't believe how ⁠the 1000-lb Sisters' family has been unable to tell Amy how irrational her behavior with her kids has been

The currently running 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 recently revealed Amy's engagement after her boyfriend, Brian, proposed to her in a haunted house. Amy, who accepted the proposal, received criticism from her siblings and viewers.

One of the things that Amy mentioned, the reason behind accepting the proposal was how good Brian has been with her kids. While she doesn't fully understand the situation, she is already planning an "asylum wedding" with Brian Lovvorn.

Amy has two sons, whom she shares with her ex-husband. Since her pregnancy, to now, when her sons Gage Deon and Glenn Allen are 5 and 4, Amy has been making poor choices, and her irrational behavior with her kids needs to stop.

The most recent concern was when Amy and her fiancé (then boyfriend) Brian went to the zoo with her two kids. While they were there, Amy got bitten by a camel, resulting in her calling the emergency services. The police also followed up on the call, and because of the strange smell, they checked their car, and Amy and Brian were arrested for possessing marijuana.

After Amy and Brian were arrested, she called her older sister, Amanda, to get her kids. After the incident, Amy was shaken because of the child endangerment she might be facing. Not only Amy, but also Brian should have made mature choices and not have such an incident on their hand, with her kids in the car.

While her family tried to intervene afterward, Amy, as usual, didn't want to listen to what they had to say. They should have been firmer and told Amy to make mature choices and be responsible.

During the 1000-lb Sisters Season 5, the female star has faced multiple emotional breakdowns. While the family tried to intervene and also mentioned the children's safety, she has not taken action to implement.

Back when she was married to Michael, her now ex-husband, she often mentioned wanting personal time, which she was not getting. She was quite overwhelmed while going through the parenting journey in the beginning.

Their family trip to London also featured quite the emotional meltdowns from Amy. She has often been referred to as making immature choices and reflecting on things without thinking things through. Despite such incidents, Amy's family has not intervened enough to prevent further incidents.

While Amy should have been intervened in more often by her family and siblings, her children would not be facing such issues because of the choices the female star has been making. The currently running 1000-lb Sisters season features how she has been preparing for her court appearance, which will determine her future.

In the meantime, Amy has been spending more time with her sons. She also posted a picture while on their way to getting their favorite breakfast. As a viewer, we can hope that Amy, with her recent arrest and follow-up incidents, has matured and can see clearly, at least for the sake of her children's safety, and make informed decisions.
