Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 is now streaming on Netflix, and it just gets better from here. Everyone's searching for things, the curiosity plane has again taken off, and I don't think it is going to land soon. Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), the main antagonist of the show, is at large, executing his plan to take over the world by becoming a child abductor. Seriously, he knows children are worth more than many parents in the world.
But what he doesn't know is that he is summoning his own death by doing this. I mean, of course, you may think that it is obvious that he is going to die, but I think I know how he is going to die. Remember the part "how."
It is during the first of three parts in Volume 2, which would be Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 5, called Shock Jock, that there's a subtle hint that Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) drops that tells us how Vecna will die, and I think it won't be Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) or Will (Noah Schnapp) or even Eight (Linnea Berthelsen) who'll decide the fate of the vine-entwined big baddie of the show.
What is this clue that hints at Vecna's fate in Stranger Things?

The story continues, and this hint is dropped at the beginning of Season 5 Episode 5, where Joyce is talking to Will. She now assures him that she believes him, and now she wants him to use his newfound abilities that cracked open the demogorgons' bones in Season 5 Episode 4 to use against Vecna.
There, she drops a line to her son,
"You said for yourself. Vecna chose you because he underestimated you."
It was at this point that I realized that Joyce is right. And I should have known this the first time Will says it in Stranger Things.
I should have known that a kid whom Vecna underestimated came to be stronger than ever at the end of Season 5 Volume 1. And now he is underestimating the ones he has kidnapped. Because if Will can do something supernatural after being involved with Vecna, so can the others whom he has held captive.
And Vecna himself said to them, while disguised as Mr. Whatsit, that they have "dormant powers in there." And by "there," he means his mind. So, once those powers are awakened, all hell will break loose. We have to see if it will be on Hawkins or Vecna himself. For me, it will be the latter.
Only two children know the truth about Vecna in Stranger Things
Everyone in that beautiful prison that Vecna has created in Stranger Things is unaware of his true identity, except the two. One is Holly Wheeler, and the other is Derek Turnbow. However, the antagonist is on the hunt for the former, who is looking for a way out of this prison.
We can only hope that, by the time the Stranger Things finale arrives, Vecna will have his army of demogorgons and flying bats and whatnot against an army of children. But of course, the elders will be there, so it's an all-out war in the Upside Down to save Hawkins.
