"I feel so happy now": Big Brother UK's Zelah opens up to Gani about his surgeries and transition

Big Brother UK shared a video clip featuring some of the fellow housemates' Honest Conversations & Surprising Confessions on October 5, 2025. The video clip shows several conversations from the reality show's episode 6.

One of the conversations was between Zelah and Gani. While some of the housemates were working out in the yard, the two talked about Zelah's surgeries and transition. Before that, Gani wasn't aware of Zelah's surgeries.

As Big Brother UK star Gani learned about Zelah's surgeries, his reaction was:

"I can't...I can't even tell, man. Seriously. Oh my God. This is iconic."

Seeing his response, Zelah told him:

"I feel so happy now."

Big Brother UK Season 22 Episode 6: Zelah opens up to Gani about his surgeries and workout routine

Big Brother UK Season 22 Episode 6 featured a conversation between Gani and Zelah. During a workout session, Gani asked Zelah about his workout routine and how long he had been working out.

In response, Zelah told him:

"3 years as a woman, 2 years as a man. So, 5 years in total. But I have a bit of a journey when it comes to fitness. So, I transitioned from...in 2023."

Listening to Zelah talk about his transition, Gani asked him more. To confirm the "transition," Gani asked if he meant from "woman to man" transition. Zelah said yes, which Gani found interesting.

"I worked out before as a woman for a long time. And I was a rugby player.

Gani was surprised to know about Zelah's transition. He told him that he couldn't "even tell" and that it was "iconic." Zela told him that since his transition, he felt happy.

Further, Big Brother UK star Gani asked how Zelah's family felt about him transitioning from a woman to a man. Zelah said that his family was fine with it. He added that he didn't tell his mom at first.

Gani then talked about how proud Zelah's parents must be to have such a "handsome man."

"So I think like...in that way like, when you say this now, the whole...all of the four five days we were here together right? It's all flashing me like this guy...he's like that, I'm thinking as a woman before. But I can't think...I can't think you as a woman now...as a...it's as in woman body, you know. I think you belong in this one," added Gani.

Big Brother UK star Zelah thanked Gani and told him that he felt "like he belonged" in it. Soon, Jenny joined the conversation. Gani told her that the two were talking about Zelah's story, the way he and Jenny talked about his story the night before.

Fans must remember Jenny and Gani's conversation about the latter being married to his cousin and having a baby boy.

Jenny told Zelah that she had a "random" question that she wanted to ask him. She then asked him about his top surgery, and they talked more about the subject.
