The buzz is at an all-time high now! The finale of Season 1 of I Love LA, Episode 8, will premiere on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 10:30 p.m. ET on HBO! With an 8-part series featuring Rachel Sennott in her rendition of Maia, this series takes a look at the tumultuous, comedic, painful and sometimes awkward lives of the creative youth in Los Angeles. With seven episodes of escalating events defined by drama, comedy, and personal struggles, this finale will hopefully resolve loose ends with a satirical twist.

What happened in the last Episode: I Love LA Episode 7
Episode 7 Divas Down pushed the characters to an extreme. Maia, portrayed by actress Rachel Sennott, did everything for Tallulah played by Odessa A'zion. She stood up to her boss to get Tallulah a big audition, but ended up being fired. Additionally, Maia’s relationship with Dylan (Josh Hutcherson) ends because he realises that Maia is unable to support him emotionally.
Tallulah is left dealing with embarrassment from a commercial she did with Ritz, which prevents her from thinking about other opportunities. This creates a disagreement between Tallulah and Maia which will have great repurcussions for their friendship.
Other characters, including Charlie (Jordan Firstman) and Alani (True Whitaker) brought in comedic relief in the episode.

Episode 8 will be the finale of Season 1 and will hopefully resolve all outstanding issues and storylines, such as Maia’s work life and struggles, and her relationship with Tallulah. Although speculations have emerged among fans regarding a supposed Season 2, nothing official has been announced yet.
