"I don't regret it": Love Is Blind: UK star Bardha reflects on saying no to Jed at the altar

Love Is Blind: UK's official podcast episode featuring Bardha aired on August 22, 2025. It featured Sarel along with Zeze Millz and Faye Winter. They had a discussion with Bardha about her journey in the experiment.

Bardha reflected on her time on the show and also shared her thoughts on being on the aisle with Jed. Fans must remember Bardha said no to Jed at the altar. However, she told him that she wanted them to move forward with their relationship and get married on their time.

Recalling their wedding day, Love Is Blind: UK shared on the podcast:

"I don't regret it. At any point, I stood very firm on my decision. The next 24 hours was...how is Jed? Is he okay? I can't believe I had to make such a tough decision and hurt someone that I really love in the process. I was calling him non-stop. I was like, I'm coming over to you. I don't care where you are. I need you to know that like, I'm still a 100% in this and, I didn't make that decision lightly."

Love Is Blind: UK Season 2: Bardha reveals what happened between her and Jed 24 hours before their wedding ceremony

Love Is Blind: UK's official podcast episode from August 22, 2025, featured one of the cast members, Bardha. Hosted by Sarel, Faye Winter, and Zeze Mills also joined the podcast to talk with Bardha and what happened during the show.

Fans must remember, one of the highlights of Bardha's journey on the Netflix show was saying no at the altar. Recalling Bardha and Jed's wedding ceremony, Sarel asked Bardha:

"What was like the 24-hour process after that no for you like, mentally. Did you regret the decision? Did you have a moment where you were like..."

Responding to that, Love Is Blind: UK star responded that she stood "firm" on her decision and that she didn't regret it. After saying no to getting married, Bardha spent the next 24 hours worrying about Jed.

She revealed that after making "such a tough decision," she ended up hurting someone she "really loved." Bardha added that she didn't make the decision not to get married lightly.

"I'm gonna do everything I can to keep us going," added Bardha.

Further, she recalled what happened before the wedding day, which led her to say no at the altar.

Love Is Blind: UK star recalled getting into an argument with Jed on their flight to the wedding venue. That led her to question Jed's intentions for the wedding.

"At first, he reacted in a way that I didn't...never seen before. And I'm quite a logical woman, and hearing him sort of deflect every question I'm answering, just sort of gave me enough clarity for me to say, I don't think you're serious. And, it just kind of hit me all at once like, You don't know this man," shared Bardha.

She noted that for her, getting married was a "lifelong commitment." She was on the show being 100% and wanted to get married.

Love Is Blind: UK star also opened up about her culture and how dating isn't "really normal" in her culture.

"I really battled with myself that night, 'coz it was 24 hours before the wedding. It wasn't, you know, a build-up until that."

Listening to Bardha talk about how she spent the 24 hours before getting married, and saying no to Jed, Faye Winter shared her perspective as a viewer.

She recalled that the experiment featured the primary issue between Bardha and Jed was that specific meal. The dinner that Jed was supposed to pay for, but Bardha paid and that led the couple into an argument.
