"I was set up by Gina and Emily": Real Housewives of Orange County star Katie reveals fake lie detector plot to Jennifer

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 9 aired on September 4, 2025. The latest episode featured a conversation between Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti.

During a chat with Jennifer, Katie said the lie detector test was fake. She claimed to have receipts showing that the people who came in for the test were paid actors.

Jennifer was not convinced. She told Katie that fellow housewives would think such claimes were "proposturous." She also recalled various events that led to conflicts earlier in the show.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Katie, however, told Jennifer:

"So that guy that they hired, you know, he's a paid actor. This is Wendy, who works for him. This is all on his website. He tells you like all these different things you can book him for. And for some, can do simple acting. So I think I would set up by Gina and Emily," said Katie.

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 9: Katie shares receipts about the lie detector test with Jennifer

The reality show's latest episode featured an interesting conversation between Katie and Jennifer. It was after the lie detector test from the Persian New Year party revealed Katie was lying about all the questions.

Bravo describes the latest Real Housewives of Orange County episode as:

"Following Emily's party, Katie believes she was set up and pleads her case to Jenn; Gina recounts the frightening moment surrounding Matt's heart attack; Emily shares that she and Shane are not seeing eye-to-eye when it comes to parenting Luke."

To clear things with Katie and know what she had to share, Jenn met her.

Jennifer initiated the conversation and told Katie that there was "so much" to talk about.

"You and I had so many conversations about our lives, about past, about future. And I just feel like, what am I missing? And then I sit there after a stupid lie detector test. You don't pass any," said Jennifer.

In her confession, Jennifer said that Katie was her "loyal" and "good friend" over the years. However, she wasn't sure if there were any other things that Katie had lied to her, too.

Listening to her concerns, Real Housewives of Orange County star Katie asked her if she wanted to see something. She took out receipts and showed them to Jennifer. Referring to them, Katie told her that whoever came to the party for the lie detector test was a "paid actor." She also had pictures of his staff members from their website.

According to Katie, the lie detector test was something that those people could be hired for. She said that they could be paid and booked.

Further, Real Housewives of Orange County star asked Jenn if she had noticed what kind of questions they were asked during the test. Seeing her confused, Katie asked if it would be okay if she didn't believe her.

"I'm trying to figure it out. Which part are you saying do I not believe you? I'm sitting here....." responded Jennifer.

The two also talked about Gretchen going to the hospital for a toxicology report, and more.
