She also makes him admit that he didn't kill his bandmate in the courtroom.As for the investigation, she visits his home to check the scene and analyze what could have happened on the night of the murder and indirectly threatens his two fans, who were taken away by the security, to confess how they entered his home.She then faces Kwak Byung-gyun in court and successfully defends Ra-Ik, stating that there is a possibility of a third person's involvement since it was raining heavily on the day of the murder, and this could have washed away the traces. She adds that his two fans also trespassed in his home. Kwak, unable to give a solid answer, sits still, letting the court know that their investigation is still ongoing. Maeng's defense helps Ra-Ik to come out of custody.The episode also gave a flashback of Maeng's past, showing how she was bullied by her schoolmates. And one of her bullies was Kwak, adding a new layer to their rivalry. Viewers also come to know that Maeng first met Ra-Ik in her childhood after he gave her his music device with his new song on it, believing it would help her go through the difficult time. Later, she saw him joining the Gold Boys and became a fan of him.The episode ends with Ra-Ik waking up in Maeng's home after passing out on the road.In the upcoming episode of Idol I, Maeng will find new ways to deal with the case and protect Ra-Ik as her client and idol.
