Quick recap of Idol I episode 5

Idol I Episode 5 picks up from the scene where Se Na and Ra-Ik get in a car accident after their tire bursts. After the accident, Ra-Ik takes care of Se Na, who gets her arm fractured. At one point, Ra-Ik suspects Se Na to be his fan. However, he says that maybe she bought everything he endorsed because it was of the best quality.

He opens up to Se Na, revealing that he has never felt loved and his fans only loved the Ra-Ik of Gold Boys and not the real Ra-Ik. Se Na tells him that she believes in him and trusts him.

On the other hand, Byung-Gyun, who is under pressure to win the case to enter politics, investigates Jae-hee only to find that he was actually missing from the hospital on the night of the murder. Upon investigation, Jae-hee surrenders, giving a statement. However, the episode doesn't reveal the details of the same.

Se Na comes to know about the statement and tells Ra-Ik that he is going to have a face-to-face interrogation with Jae-hee soon. At the same time, she was also under pressure to give up on the case, which she didn't.

While investigating the car accident, the police find the people who planned it, and it was none other than Ra-Ik's obsessed fans who trespassed in his house before.

In the last scene of the episode, Hye-joo visits Se Na's home and asks Ra-Ik to come with her. However, Ra-Ik rejects her offer and stays by Se Na's side.

In the upcoming episode, Hye-joo will possibly reveal more details about Ra-Ik to Se Na. On the other hand, the viewers will also see the case shifting from Ra-Ik to Jae-hee. Additionally, there's a possibility that Se Na might reveal to Ra-Ik that she has been his true fan all along.
