With Apple TV rolling out the Season 4 end credits, fans are now eager to know when The Morning Show Season 5 will finally premiere. The platform's beloved drama series wrapped its fourth season with an intense finale titled "Knowing Violation", which was released on November 19.

The current season of The Morning Show featured everything from an AI deepfake controversy to a tragic environmental hazard story, which landed Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) in a Belarus prison. The final chapter in the fourth season revealed the fate of Bradley and Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) tying all the loose threads of their story.

However, their narratives will find a new beginning in The Morning Show Season 5, which was confirmed even before the Season 4 premiere. While Apple TV has not yet confirmed a release date for the upcoming chapter, it will likely drop in the latter half of 2027.

More on The Morning Show Season 5 in our story.

The Morning Show Season 5: When can the upcoming chapter in the Apple TV series release?

Apple TV's most popular drama series was renewed for a fifth season, even before the Season 4 premiere. Executive producer Michael Ellenberg, CEO of Media Res, confirmed The Morning Show Season 5 in a press release in September 2025:

''We’re excited to embark on a new season that will give this cast and creative team even more room to shine. We are so grateful to Apple TV+ and the fans around the world who tune in every week, and are so excited for viewers to see this upcoming season and beyond.”

While the drama series was renewed for another season, the platform has not yet revealed the release date for The Morning Show Season 5. However, considering the release pattern for previous seasons, the new season will likely be released in the Fall of 2027.

The Morning Show typically takes a two-year gap between seasons. After its November 2019 debut, new seasons followed in September 2021, September 2023 and September 2025, respectively. Given the show’s consistent release rhythm, Season 5 is expected to arrive in September 2027, though this timeline is far from confirmed. Like the previous episodes, the upcoming season will likely have ten episodes in total, which will explore more pressing issues and themes in the titular newsroom.

What can you expect from The Morning Show Season 5?

The Morning Show Season 5 will likely pick up from the harrowing events of the Season 4 finale. The recently released finale offered a clean conclusion for all the main characters, leaving very few loose threads, but their future and careers are still hanging in the balance.

One of the major storylines was Bradley's confinement in the Belarus prison, following her investigation into the poisoned water story. Since Bradley was adamant about not giving up her source to the government, she was kept in confinement. However, The Morning Show Season 4 finale revealed the details about Celine's betrayal and cover-up story in the poisoned water case, which was eventually revealed in front of Cory and Alex.

After the duo joined hands and Celine's secret was exposed to a live audience, Bradley was finally released from the Belarus prison. In an emotional turn of events, Alex even received Bradley from prison, featuring a wholesome reunion between the two.

While Bradley is released, The Morning Show Season 5 will likely continue to expand on her future and changing dynamics with Alex. Additionally, Celine's betrayal leaves a power vacuum in the UBN and it remains to be seen who will helm the company as the CEO in the next installment, with Mia and Ben being the most competent candidates for the job.

You can stream The Morning Show Season 4 finale on Apple TV.

In addition to Aniston and Witherspoon, The Morning Show also stars Billy Crudup as Cory, Mark Duplass as Chip, William Jackson Harper as Ben, Karen Pittman as Mia and Marion Cotillard as Celine.
