"It's awful": Last person to speak with Charlie Kirk slams those responsible for the shooting

Charlie Kirk was shot dead on September 10, 2025, after which a 29-year-old mathematics student, who was the last person to speak with Charlie, shared a video.

A day later, on September 11, 2025, Hunter Kozak, a liberal TikToker, shared a video via X (formerly Twitter) sharing his views on the unfortunate incident.

He talked about how awful the incident was and sympathized with Charlie being a father. Hunter, himself, also a father, stated that Charlie had two kids and a wife. Talking more about kids growing up without a father, and how tragic it would be, Hunter continued in the video:

"First off, you sick f*cking psychos that think this is the answer. It's not. I don't know what else to say. It's f*cking not. It's awful, and a father doesn't have his kids anymore. Charlie had two kids and a wife. And like...not to make this about me, but I have two kids and a wife. And if my one-year-old boy, like his one-year-old boy, grew up without memories of his dad, it's a tragedy. And I don't, it's hard to grapple with."

Since Charlie Kirk was shot dead, there have been a lot of developments. This includes various suspects being questioned, different videos storming throughout social media platforms, and more.

One of the videos, shared by Hunter Kozak, caught everyone's attention. He was the last person to speak with Charlie before the unfortunate incident. While Charlie was sitting in the tent, Hunter was standing in front of it and conversing on various topics.

In the video, shared the next day from the incident, Hunter Kozak noted that it had been a "rough 24 hours." He showed another clip showing himself talking to Charlie Kirk.

Sharing more about himself and his views on Charlie Kirk, Hunter said:

"So I'll give you some background. I made a video maybe about a week or two ago, I think. I'll play clips so it's clear about what's going on."

He then showed another clip from a few days back where he talked about mass shootings, specifically the Minneapolis school shooting incident, and Charlie Kirk. He then played another clip showing Turning Point USA's latest X post regarding Charlie's tour.

"I noticed that he was touring America, and he was touring universities specifically. And one of these caught my eye because one of these is the university I'm currently going to," added Hunter.

He mentioned that he saw Charlie Kirk's schedule, where he was supposed to arrive at the university where he was studying.

He then talked about his conversation with Charlie, which was related to a mass shooting, and more, while everyone heard a pop. It was the sound of the shooting that resulted in Charlie's tragic death.

Hunter Kozak called out responsible people and stated that it was not the answer. He said he didn't know what else to say, only that it was tragic.

"And I'm part of a community that's struggling to grapple with it right now," he added.

Further, Hunter talked about his disagreements with Charlie's views. He added that Charlie was also a human being and called out the responsible individuals for carrying out such an incident.
