"It's just disrespectful to me": Sister Wives star Meri slams Kody's claim that he never loved her after finding his old letters

Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 7 aired on November 9, 2025. The latest episode featured cast members including Meri, Christine, David, Janelle, Maddie, Robyn, Kody Brown, and more.

One of the key moments featured in the episode was Meri going through Kody's letters and notes from an old box. She was with her best friend, Jenn, while she opened up about her time together with Kody.

Meri and Jenn went through the box and came across some letters, jewellery, and other items. In her private confession, Sister Wives star Meri recalled Kody's remarks on never loving her. Meri confessed:

"This box is literally just the very beginning. He has written me just so many notes and letters over the years. So, for him to come back and say, "Oh! I never loved you," I was like, okay. It's just disrespectful to me. It's disrespectful to the beginning of our family. It's disrespectful to everyone of us, women, Robyn included."

Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 7: Meri reflects on her time together with Kody Brown and the letters he sent her earlier

TLC's Sister Wives, Season 20, Episode 7, featured Meri Brown recalling the time when she was in a polygamous relationship with Kody Brown. While going through some old stuff, Meri found a box filled with letters and notes from Kody. She was with her best friend, Jenn, who wanted to read some of the letters:

"So in this box I unpacked, there's a letter from Kody. So, yeah, this will be interesting to see what it says."

Her best friend, Jenn, read one of the letters out loud. Meri recalled Kody writing letters to her before Janelle was with them in the family.

In a separate confession, Kody Brown also recalled writing notes to Meri. He noted that she was insecure in their relationship:

"Meri was very insecure. There's been a good part of my life, just trying to build something of confidence there. She needed a lot of reassurance."

Further in the Sister Wives episode, Meri recalled that she knew Kody was going to get another wife. It had been one of the huge conversations the two her.

"I would think that if a man is married to a woman and he's open to, you know, another relationship, would he not be kind and be reassuring to his wife, knowing that this might be hurtful to her?" said Meri.

Referring to that box full of letters, she noted that it was just the beginning. However, when he mentioned that he never loved Meri, it was disrespectful to her. She also noted that it was disrespectful to all the females in the family, including Robyn.

Further in the episode, Meri and Jenn also came across some other items, including jewellery and more.
