Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is ready to bring back surprising and fan-favorite Marvel characters in the mix. Among them is Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones. The footage shared during the New York Comic Con showed Jones appearing in the series and knocking a goon out of her way with metal trays.
The footage has left the Marvel fans excited, as Jones is one of the beloved characters on screen and in the comics as well. Season 2 will see Matt Murdock/Daredevil deal with Wilson Fisk, who is now the mayor of New York City. He will gather allies to fight the authoritarian regime of Kingpin.
Apart from the small footage, not much about Jones' storyline has been shared. Furthermore, Season 2 will also see Foggy, played by Elden Henson, return to the MCU with the series.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 - Jessica Jones returns to the MCU
Krysten Ritter first appeared as Jessica Jones in 2015, in her Netflix show, which wrapped up in 2019. She also appeared with Cox's character, Daredevil, in The Defenders. After a long wait, she will reprise her role as Jones and will appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, maybe to help Matt Murdock bring Fisk down.
Other than the footage with Jones appearing in Season 2, Ritter also joined Charlie Cox in the New York Comic Con panel, surprising many fans. As per Entertainment Weekly, she did not reveal anything about Jones' storyline and simply stated:
"I got the talking points and they say, 'Please don't reveal anything about Jessica Jones. I'll say that Jessica is back, and it's exciting to be in the action, and she looks cool as ever."
Although she did not share much about her character in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, she shared that the talks of her reprising her role had been continuing 'for a long time.' She shared:
"I've been asked about it every day, and when they finally announced it I kept looking over my shoulder: 'Are you sure? Am I allowed to say this now? So it was a long time in the works, and I'm so excited to be back."
Ritter further talked about how she loved returning to the MCU and reprising her character and working with Charlie Cox again.
Apart from Ritter's character, Henson will also return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Fans were devastated by his shocking death in Season 1, which prompted Cox's character to give up on being the Daredevil. However, in the footage, Foggy also makes an appearance, but the extent of his storyline is not yet revealed.
In Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Murdock will be donning a brand new suit and reprise his character. Season 2 also includes stars such as Vincent D'Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Gandolfini, among several others.
Season 2 of the fan-favorite series will premiere on March 4, 2026, exclusively on Disney+.
