Netflix's Perfect Match Season 3 premiered on August 1, 2025. The third episode featured another compatibility challenge. For that, the individual winners were Sandy and Clayton. They were given a special power as a part of their winnings.
The two were sent to the boardroom, where they were given special power. Show host Nick Lachey told them they could choose to bring back two new male participants. They were given four options, and one of them was JR, whom Sandy knew from The Ultimatum.
Later, when Clayton asked Rachel about JR, she shared:
"I literally just had a mini heart attack. We were both on The Ultimatum together. We did a trial marriage together. So we lived together and we dated through the experience."
Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 4: Sandy opens up about JR, after which she and Clayton choose two new singles
Perfect Match Season 3 Episode 4 featured Sandy and Clayton going to the Boardroom. Soon, show host Nick Lachey joined them and explained their powers.
"Now, on the bottom of the board, you will see all five couples currently matched in the house. You guys are obviously still with your current matches. Here, at the top of the board, you will see four brand-new single men," said Nick.
The new singles were:
- Ray from Love Island US,
- Scott from Love Island UK,
- Jalen from Too Hot to Handle, and
- JR from The Ultimatum.
Seeing JR's name on the board, Sandy's reaction was:
"Come on! Nick Lachey, no!"
Nick explained further about the power that Sandy and Clayton would have. Sharing about the "twists and turns," he stated:
"Do you wanna hook somebody up? Do you wanna maybe break up a couple you view as a threat? Or, Sandy, in this case, your third option would be you could choose to send yourself on a date."
After explaining their options and twists, Nick left. Sandy said it was a lot to go through. Clayton asked her about JR.
Responding to that, Perfect Match star Sandy said she had a "mini heart attack." She opened up about her connection with JR from Netflix's The Ultimatum.
"Why is he on this board right now? This is so weird. Like, that's...it's freaking me out. I mean, I feel good with Louis right now."
She added that she and Louis were getting "closer and stronger" every day. However, she wasn't sure. They decided to send Rachel on a date with Scott and chose JR to go on a date with AD.
