"Just want to be a normal person": Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Nicole prepares herself to talk to her birth mother

Ahead of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 8 Episode 2 release, the show's Instagram account released a clip featuring Nicole, aka Snooki. The clip features Nicole along with Jenni getting ready to talk to her birth mother.

To help Nicole get in touch with her birth mother and sister, she had hired a genealogist, Pamela Slaton. While waiting for Pamela to arrive with more information on her birth mother, Nicole talked about the situation and how she felt with Jenni.

Later, when Pamela arrived and told Nicole that her birth mother only knew her as Nicole and not as a part of Jersey Shore, and "Snooki." Listening to that, Nicole responded:

"Honestly, I would love if they had no idea what Jersey Shore was, who Snooki is. That would be a f*cking dream because I just want to be a normal person to these people."

While Jersey Shore: Family Vacation stars Nicole and Jenni waited for the genealogist to arrive, they both felt nervous. Along with Nicole, Jenni stated that she had "anxiety" about the whole situation. She also confessed how she never thought such a day would arrive in her life.

Before Pamela, the genealogist, arrived, Nicole joked with Jenni and asked:

"What do I say? Hey, this is the kid you gave up. What's up? Was I one night stand?"

They laughed about it, after which Jenni said she would have to talk/ type in Spanish as that was the language her birth mother spoke.

"I don't know how to speak Spanish, Jenni, I've failed Spanish twice," confessed Nicole.

Soon, Pamela arrived with a translator to send messages in Spanish. After setting up the messaging app on her laptop, Pamela said her birth mother was online.

"I'll just let them know that we're together. They only know you by ****. They don't know your real name," said Pamela.

Listening to her, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star stated she wanted it that way. Because she didn't want her birth mother to learn anything about the show and more.

Later, Pamela asked Nicole if the number one reason behind reaching out to her birth mother was to get her medical information. Nicole agreed and shared that another reason was that she wanted to know why she was given up for adoption.

Nicole confessed to the cameras that she would have regretted her entire life if she hadn't done that. Soon, seeing that the other side of the messaging app, her birth mother, was typing, Nicole was anxious and excited.

"I just, I don't know how to react right now. My emotions are everywhere," said Nicole

She added that she had been waiting her entire life to do that. She mentioned how she was 36 years old and it was the first time she would have a conversation with her birth mother.
