After a long wait, Kim Sejeong's new K-drama, Moon River, has finally arrived and viewers are already loving the historical drama with a touch of magic and romance. Another reason for fans to watch the show is that the actress also reunites with her Business Proposal co-star.

Is it Ahn Hyo-seop? No! The Business Proposal co-star that we're talking about is none other than Lim Ki-hong. Previously, he played Shin Ha-ri's quirky co-worker Kevin at the company, and now he's seen as the female lead's (Dal-yi) father in Moon River.

Lim's character in the new K-drama is as engaging as Kevin from Business Proposal. From the very first episode, he proves to be a caring father to Park Dal-yi. He dislikes noble kids as they have a habit of teasing Dal-yi.

Moon River is the latest K-drama with a twist, with the story focusing on Crown Prince Lee Kang, who has been broken by the death of his wife. On the other side, Park Dal-yi is a lively merchant in the village who has lost all memories of her past.

At the same time, there are other key figures like Dal-yi's parents, the Prince's allies, and others. As mentioned before, Dal-yi's father is portrayed by Kim Sejeong's Business Proposal co-star, Lim Ki-hong.

Kim's character is introduced right in the first episode, in which he asks Dal-yi if the noble kids threw rocks at her again. Dal-yi is amazed to see how her father knows everything about her just by looking at her face.

The scene is humorous as Dal-yi's quirky father rolls up his sleeves and claims that he'll beat up the young men. However, his wife arrives and gives a fact check to the father-daughter duo. Though Dal-yi loves both her parents, she remains doubtful of being a commoner or a noble, as all her memories were washed away when she almost drowned.

Moon River episode 1 begins with a storyteller marking two names on a glowing tree to show how fate links people together. This event sets the story of Crown Prince Lee Kang, who is haunted by the death of his wife.

Once accused of killing the queen, she drowned herself to prove her innocence. However, it was later revealed that the powerful minister Kim Han-chul framed her and even ordered her death. So, the Prince plans to take revenge but keeps it a secret until the day comes when he finally settles the score with Han-chul.

Meanwhile in the town in Joseon, Park Dal-yi lives as a lively and quirky merchant. She's young and has no memory of her past. Her parent found her when she was almost drowned to death.

Later in the episode, Dal-yi gets on a task to help a naval commander’s daughter. However, her aunt had warned Dal-yi to stay away from Hanyang, as going to the capital might expose the truth and result in her death.

Dal-yi's father also comes to know that his daughter might end up in danger if she goes to the capital, but it's already too late. But before that happened, the Prince arrived in town and saw glimpses of Dal-yi.

He thought that she was his wife and even tried to chase her. But Dal-yi escaped. By the end of the episode, Dal-yi ends up at the palace and when she's running on the roof, she falls into the Prince's arms. This suggests that Dal-yi might actually be the Prince's lost wife.

Moon River can be streamed on Viki.
